  Pros

  I first tried Benton's hand cream and found it gentle and nice, so I decided to give their eye cream a go too. I'm pleased there's no irritation or tingling around the eyes. While I'm not sure about its effectiveness, I suppose the real test for an eye cream is preventing wrinkles, right? Some eye creams can be overly greasy, but Benton's isn't too sticky or oily, which I really appreciate.

  Cons

  While the performance is generally good, the price is a bit steep. I'd recommend waiting for a sale before purchasing.

  Skin type: Combination dehydrated, sensitive My skin has a thin, delicate barrier, so even a slight excess of oil can immediately cause blemishes. That's why I always scrutinize ingredient lists before purchasing. For eye creams, I absolutely avoid anything with shea butter. That's how I settled on this Benton Fermentation Eye Cream! I use it daily, and it's great for makeup as it doesn't cause pilling. The gentle ingredients make it comfortable to apply without worry. I've been using it for so long that I've considered trying something new, but I haven't found a suitable alternative yet. So, I'll likely stick with this for a while. I'm touched by their thoughtful marketing - they generously include various samples without asking and even suggest testing products from the same line to check for any reactions. This attention to detail really boosts overall satisfaction!

  Like most cosmetics, don't expect dramatic wrinkle improvement - keep your expectations realistic! I use it more as a preventative measure. Also, when first dispensing the cream, the texture is a bit firm, so you need to massage it in several times for proper absorption, which can be a bit of extra work. Lastly, I want to note that I only realized the manufacturing date was from 2019 after receiving the product. I bought it without much thought during a big sale, intending to stock up. But when it arrived, I saw it was made on 30.10.19 with an expiry of 31.10.21. While there's still a year left, it's less time than I expected, which was a bit surprising. For a 1+1 offer, it would be better if they ran promotions on products with at least a year left before expiry. Anyway, I'll have to use it generously and frequently!

  Tip

  Benton products are a perfect match for me, so I use the Fermentation Eye Cream during the day and the Benton Snail Bee Eye Cream at night. The latter has a completely different texture - it's creamy, smooth, and feels more hydrating. However, it can cause pilling under makeup, so I recommend using it only in the evening! I've heard that using products from the same brand for your entire skincare routine can be less stressful for your skin, so I'm trying to follow that advice. P.S. If anyone with a similar skin type has tried any good products from other brands, I'd love to hear your recommendations!

  Usage period: September 18, 2019 to March 15, 2020 (finished) I expected the eye cream to be thick, but it absorbed surprisingly smoothly and didn't feel irritating! Though the container is small, I was able to use it for longer than expected, even applying it to my neck! It's not heavy or irritating, so I'd recommend it to high school students or those in their early to mid-20s! Repurchase intention: 3 out of 5 stars Reason: I give it 3 stars because the effects were less noticeable compared to other Benton products. However, it didn't cause any blemishes or irritation, so I'd recommend trying it if you have sensitive skin that doesn't usually tolerate eye creams well!

  Cons

  While it's unrealistic to expect major changes after 6 months of use, there weren't any visible improvements. Nevertheless, it truly didn't cause any blemishes and wasn't irritating, making it a product worth trying.

  Tip

  Don't forget to apply the eye cream generously on your neck too!

  I'm on my second bottle of this product. First off, it's affordable and gentle. I had some blemishes, but this helped. Some products cause milia-like bumps, so I'd just apply them on my hands. But this one absorbs well into the skin.

  There's nothing particularly disappointing about it. The narrow opening is actually a plus - it dispenses just the right amount of cream.

  I applied this around my eyes where wrinkles were forming, and the hydration lasts for a long time. Even after a while, there's no dryness when I apply it around my mouth and eyes. I hope it improves wrinkles! I'm looking forward to seeing results with long-term use. It's gentle, which is great. There's no oily feeling, and it absorbs quickly, so I'm satisfied.

  I used to avoid eye creams because they instantly caused milia, but after turning 30, I decided to give them another try. This one is gentle, so it doesn't irritate my eyes. I can't use products that make my eyes tear up. This has no scent and absorbs well. After using it, I feel it's definitely better than not using anything at all.

  Unfortunately, after continuous use, I developed a milia. So I'm taking a break from it for now. If it weren't for that, I'd want to use it every day.

  Tip

  Before applying the cream, I generously pat a bit under my eyes and let it absorb. It makes the under-eye area feel plump and firm.
