Since I don't do touch-up makeup, if I don't use baking-level powder treatment, my foundation disappears in the evening. This foundation is something I bought abroad, as there is no company in our country that has yellow-based shades 25 and 26. But because of the Sephora lighting, I ended up buying shade 25 peach (185). First of all, the range of tones is incredibly vast! From pure white to deep brown, it's easy to find the perfect shade that matches you. The tone variety is also amazing - not just pink and yellow, but also peach, golden, olive, and more, so you can select the tone that suits you best. Since it's a full-coverage matte foundation, it manages to control oil to some degree even without powder, and it covers skin unevenness and sebum well. There's a lot of redness around my mouth, but the color correction is excellent. It fills in the uneven texture seamlessly and makes my skin look clean. The coverage is so good that I don't need to use concealer except for major blemishes.
ConsSince it's quite matte, when I apply it on my face, it sometimes dries up and becomes difficult to spread. I usually use half a pump, or at most one pump, but if I just dot it on instead of spreading it out, the thinner areas end up drying out. There's a dewy version of the same foundation line that came out last year, and I regret not buying that one. The coverage is supposedly similar, but it's more hydrating and the tone looks prettier. If you prefer a semi-matte finish with more dewiness, I'd recommend getting the dewy version. I also get breakouts sometimes... Wearing the foundation with a mask on top really lets the acne have a party. So you really need to make sure to cleanse your face thoroughly!
TipThe best method is to apply it on the face and then use a damp sponge to work it in, but if it tends to dry out on the skin, you can squeeze out an amount on the back of your hand, spread it out a bit, and then pick up small amounts with the sponge from there to dab it on. This helps keep it more hydrated. Be sure to shake the bottle well before using! And before buying, definitely check the shades on the website. Just look at the model photos for the shade range (they all seem to be in neutral tones), but make sure to look at the actual foundation color swatches to get a better idea of the undertones. Then you can ask the store staff for assistance. (I only realized it was shade 240/60 after purchasing.) The actual foundation is a bit more pink-toned than the photo I shared (my camera tends to make skin tones look more neutral and pale; I edited the foundation color in the photo).

I'm almost mad at myself for not discovering it sooner, it's that good. The full coverage really helps conceal my red acne scars. It's amazing how natural it looks, even with the full coverage. Double Wear always made my skin look heavy, but this Fenty foundation is so light and natural-looking. It's as if my skin is naturally flawless and I just lightly applied some makeup. The shade 130 is a perfect match for my skin tone, which is light with yellow undertones (Double Wear was 1N1, MAC is NC15). The lightweight coverage makes me feel less self-conscious in bright, outdoor settings. It's really boosted my confidence 👍
ConsIt dries too quickly, so if you apply it slowly, the edges can become cakey. Applying it with a brush can also leave brush strokes.
TipUsing a damp makeup sponge to quickly stipple it on gives the most natural and seamless finish!

And it makes my skin look so soft and smooth, and it really doesn't break down or come off, in my opinion. Most importantly, it looks so natural ㅠㅠ I bought the neutral color and when I went out wearing this foundation, my friends touched my cheeks and said my skin looked great haha
ConsYou should be careful when purchasing as there is some darkening. I watched Sobonim's video and the darkening seems quite severe.. The difference between right after application and 10 minutes later is significant. And sometimes it can dry out and become patchy if you just apply it with a puff
TipIf you apply it with a damp puff, it's the best...

Applying it by patting it on like a damp sponge seems to be the best way to get it to adhere well. It has a nice matte finish, which I like for skin expression. I'll repurchase it once I finish this one.
ConsThere's a lot of yellow undertone. There's some darkening that makes it look a bit more yellow. It dries quickly after application, so you have to apply it fast. And the fragrance seems to be divisive - it might be drying for dry skin types.
TipApplying it by patting it on like a damp sponge seems to be the best way to get it to adhere well. I'm using shade 140, which is a bright shade, and it matches me well and gives a fresh look. Compared to the Double Wear (the original color), 140 is a bit brighter, but mixing the two shades makes the color match my face better.
