Don't buy this. I only bought it because the product from another company was out of stock. Make sure to order from somewhere else, not Life-flo.

Worst experience ever. I ordered from iHerb, and I'm giving it the lowest score possible before even using it. Don't buy this! It's not even a liquid, it's an oil. It arrived without any seal whatsoever. The photo I took is right after opening the cap. The box itself looks like it's been opened before, and inside, not only is there no seal, but it feels like someone's used product or it's been refilled. It's really unsettling. I paid around $17 for this... I'm at a loss for words. I don't know if it's iHerb's fault, but the bottle opening is way too wide for an oil. It'll be inconvenient to use. Just don't buy it. 

I'm someone who buys a lot online and rarely returns anything, but receiving a product like this is a first for me and I'm really taken aback. There wasn't even that satisfying seal-breaking feeling you get when opening a new drink. Since I bought it through direct purchase, I'm not sure if I should just use it as is.

Bumping it up from one star to two. Maybe Tamanu oil itself suits me well? The blemishes that had flared up terribly last night have almost completely subsided. Despite its thick consistency, it absorbs well into the skin.

While natural oils suit my skin, it's best to avoid using during sensitive periods (folliculitis flare-ups, acne breakouts, or right after extractions). It can be slightly irritating.

The container is inconvenient. As you can see in the photo, it's difficult to control the amount dispensed. When I tried to apply it after having a drink, it suddenly gushed out!

My skin condition varies drastically depending on the season, hormones, and diet. On average, I have a few blemishes and folliculitis (red spots). Blackheads are about 80% distributed on my nose and T-zone. I'm the type who can't resist popping, resulting in numerous scars.

I bought this after watching YouTube reviews. I mix 1-2 drops with my cream or hydrating serum. While it hasn't completely cleared my significant scarring, the smaller and lighter marks seem to have faded. True to its oily nature, my skin stays moisturized from evening application through to the morning.

I've been using it for about 2 months, but I think I'll need to use it a bit longer to see definitive results. Since there are no notable side effects, I'll likely repurchase.

If you have a dark glass bottle with a dropper, transfer the product into that for use.

The packaging is incredibly inconvenient. A dropper would have been so much better. I'm worried about oxidation, so I can't even transfer it to another container. Unfortunately, I didn't see any effects on blemishes or discoloration, even with consistent use. I'm just using it for hydration now.

It hydrates really well. Great for mixing with other creams, and you get a generous amount. The tamanu oil scent might be hit or miss for some, but I didn't mind it. It has a sort of herbal fragrance.

You can mix it with rosehip oil and apply it all over your face, or use it as a spot treatment on blemish marks!

The first disappointment is the unavoidable scent. It's incredibly strong, so those sensitive to smells should think twice before purchasing. It has a sort of medicinal, herbal aroma. Secondly, and most importantly, it's just not effective at all. I bought tamanu oil hoping for more noticeable results, but it didn't deliver any benefits whatsoever.

Unfortunately, I can't say there was anything particularly good about this product. It really didn't live up to any of my expectations.

I'm not seeing any effects. I wonder if I need to use it for several months to see results...

The opening is a bit inconvenient to use, so I've transferred it to a syrup dispenser. I bought it because it's supposed to be good for acne scars, but after a month of use, I haven't seen results yet. When I use it, I notice blemishes appearing on my face, but I'm not sure if it's because of this product or if my skin is just prone to breakouts... I'm currently mixing it with my moisturizer, but I wouldn't strongly recommend it. Personally, I don't mind the scent.

Affordable price.
I purchased it directly from iHerb.
The reason for buying was its reputation for quickly fading scars.
I first discovered it through a YouTuber named Ria Yu!

After using it, I didn't feel like it dramatically improved scars.
However, when I mix a drop or two with grain masks or toners, the hydration is incredibly satisfying! I'm using it so well.
Especially when mixed with toner and sprayed like a mist,
it keeps my skin from feeling dry and it's great!

Usage amount:
I have extremely oil-sensitive skin. If you're oily or combination and react quickly to oils with blemishes, start with very small amounts. I mixed half a drop with cream for over a month. Seeing faster healing of inflammation and scar regeneration, I excitedly increased to one drop, which immediately caused blemishes. Be extra careful in summer, especially on humid days. After a year, I can now use about 2 drops with good absorption.

Problem areas and itching:
Tamanu is said to promote tissue regeneration, and it's incredibly effective on blemish-prone areas. I typically have slow skin healing, with deep blemishes lasting 2-4 weeks. With diligent tamanu application, even deep blemishes clear up within a week. It's truly a godsend.

It also helped with flat warts on my neck from cosmetic reactions, localized redness, and contact dermatitis on my hands. It significantly reduces itching from hive-like blemishes and insect bites. Applying it diligently for 1-2 days often makes me forget about the issue. Less itching means less scratching, which seems to improve its effectiveness. Its strong antioxidant properties are said to inhibit pathogen activation, so use it wisely.

* It's CCOF (California Certified Organic Farmers) certified, not USDA certified. CCOF is an agricultural corporation, not a government agency like the Korean FDA.

* It doesn't come with a dropper. I transfer it to a bottle with a dropper. When the temperature drops significantly, it solidifies, making it difficult to transfer.

As someone with combination dehydrated skin, blemishes, and contact dermatitis, I'm a huge beneficiary of tamanu oil. I bought this from iHerb directly. While I liked the Sidmool tamanu I tried first, I wanted to use it more liberally, so I decided to buy from overseas.

Color:
Tamanu oil's green color might be off-putting to some, but this is the lightest shade I've used so far. It's slightly clearer than Sidmool's, closer to a pale green. Unlike Aura Cacia's tamanu, which makes you feel like Shrek, this one is less intimidating. After absorption, I can't even tell it's green.

Texture:
It's more fluid and spreads better than Sidmool's tamanu. A little goes a long way. It spreads instantly, even in winter.

Comparison:
Aura Cacia absorbs quickly, requiring more product. It was good for adapting my sensitive skin and nice for summer use. Oily skin types might prefer Aura Cacia. Life-flo is slightly lighter than Sidmool, but not drastically different.

Application:
It initially gives a glossy sheen but absorbs quickly. I didn't experience greasiness, possibly because I mix it with cream and use small amounts. Surprisingly, it seems to balance oil and moisture, resulting in less excess sebum. When I first used it, I was amazed at how soft and smooth my skin felt. This was consistent across all tamanu products I've tried.

I react badly to even small amounts of jojoba oil and initially had issues with rosehip oil, but tamanu was a game-changer. It was the first oil that made me understand how an oil can actually balance skin's oil and moisture levels.

I bought this when my usual tamanu oil was out of stock. However, this one has a lighter color and milder scent compared to my previous one. The original was a very deep green, but this is closer to a light green. While it's hard to tell if the effectiveness has decreased without long-term use, I'm wondering why there's such a difference.

It seems to have all the benefits of tamanu oil, doesn't it? I've been using tamanu oil daily for a long time, and it definitely helps fade acne pigmentation faster and keeps my skin hydrated.

Being an unrefined oil, it might need to be used up quickly... That's an unavoidable aspect, I suppose. Still, since it can be used in various ways, I think I'll use it up pretty fast. Also, those with nut allergies should definitely check before using!

I had heard about the benefits of tamanu oil and decided to buy it, and I don't regret my purchase at all. As someone with oily skin, I never thought I'd use oils, but I heard that jojoba, tamanu, and rosehip are suitable even for oily skin types. I'm really satisfied with my tamanu oil purchase. Being oily-skinned, it does leave a bit of shine when applied directly. While I didn't have any issues, it might clog pores for some. Mixing it with a moisturizer or serum helps it absorb better with less shine. It seemed to help calm down severe blemishes. I'll need to use it longer to see effects on scars. I was worried about the strong smell some people mentioned, but I actually liked that it wasn't an artificial fragrance. It has a nutty scent, like walnut ice cream mixed with dried grass... Once applied, the scent isn't overwhelming at all.

Mixing it with your moisturizer seems to help it absorb even better.

It's a bit inconvenient that it doesn't come with a dropper or pump, but you can easily solve this by transferring it to a Daiso container. The scent is slightly grassy, which might be hit or miss for some people, but it's not unbearable.

I bought this for about 18,000 won on iHerb after watching a YouTube video. It definitely has a calming effect and prevents new blemishes from forming. I haven't been using it long enough to see if it improves hyperpigmentation, but I plan to continue using it. I might update my review if I notice any changes later.
