Great as a base lip color. The shade is perfect for that MLBB (My Lips But Better) look and would likely suit those with deep undertones beautifully. The application isn't particularly smooth and it tends to clump. It's a bit challenging to wear on its own.

If your lips are free of dead skin cells, it goes on with a matte, plump feel without any shine. I chose this as a base lip color to bring out an orange-apricot hue since He* Pampas alone looks pink on me. The Brilliant shade itself has an orange-apricot tone. Wearing this alone gives a MLBB look, but when paired with Pampas, it creates a luscious peach-apricot lip. I'm so glad I picked this as a base! Being matte, it does tend to accentuate any dead skin cells on your lips. (Now I'm craving some crispy seaweed snacks!) Here's a pro tip: Before bed, apply a generous amount of any lip care product you prefer - be it lip balm, lip mask, or even Vaseline. Your lips will be incredibly hydrated when you wake up!
