  This is an excellent low pH cleansing gel for those with sensitive, blemish-prone skin like mine. What I love most is that it's fragrance-free! As someone who gets instant headaches from artificial scents, I highly recommend this for those with sensitive skin or fragrance sensitivities. The lather is fantastic! If you've tried low pH products before, you know they often don't foam well. But this one creates a rich lather that doesn't disappear quickly, even when using a foam net. It's perfect for morning cleansing and as a second cleanser. My dermatologist recommended using a low pH cleanser in the morning, which is why I chose this. For makeup removal, I use micellar water first, then follow with this gel. It's a gentle, irritation-free routine that works great for my oily, sensitive, blemish-prone skin.

  Cons

  The ingredients list could be better. I'm disappointed to see PEGs included. To be honest, once I finish this, I plan to switch to the foam cleanser from the same line. The after-feel might not be for everyone (though I personally like it). It leaves a slightly slippery sensation after rinsing. However, I've learned that this actually indicates a gentle, non-stripping cleanse. In terms of cleansing power, I'd say it's moderate.

  Use this product for your morning cleanse. For evening makeup removal, start with micellar water, then follow up with this gel. It's a zero-irritation routine!

  Pros

  I'm usually very cautious when choosing cleansers since my skin can react badly, but this one recommended by a friend works amazingly well for me! The ingredients are good, and being slightly acidic seems to suit my skin better. It's a transparent, runny gel with a slight yellow tint that lathers up nicely. After washing, my skin feels smooth. It's perfect for a quick morning cleanse. It seems to cleanse well, and I've noticed fewer blemishes since I started using it. I've been sticking with this cleanser exclusively for two years now!

  The fragrance-free formula means the scent isn't great, unfortunately. It takes some getting used to at first, but you adapt over time. Also, there's a slightly slippery feeling after rinsing, as if it hasn't washed off completely. Rinsing thoroughly helps with this.   Pros

  For a low pH cleanser, it lathers surprisingly well. It seems great for morning cleansing routines.

  Cons

  After using this, I developed a lot of blemishes - the hard kind that don't come to a head when squeezed. I think it's because it doesn't cleanse thoroughly enough. It's frustrating having to rinse so many times to get it off completely.

  I was surprised by the low rating, but my family absolutely loves this product. The finish has that unique slippery feel typical of slightly acidic cleansers, which might be hit or miss for some. Since I've always disliked that squeaky-clean feeling, I found the texture incredibly pleasant. After washing, my skin feels as soft and hydrated as if I'd bathed in filtered or hot spring water - it's super gentle too. There's noticeably less deep dryness, and despite being so mild, it doesn't compromise on cleansing effectiveness (I have oily skin). My skin is quite sensitive to cleansers and tends to react badly or develop dermatitis with even slightly irritating products, but this one doesn't cause any adverse reactions.

  Nothing really. Perhaps it's a bit runny, so you might use it up faster than expected?

  You can get this super cheap during buy-one-get-one-free deals at Lalavla. It lathers quite well too - just use about a quarter-sized amount on your palm and add only a drop or two of water to work up a foam. Any more water and it becomes too diluted. Also, reading other reviews, I noticed some people giving it low ratings for not removing makeup effectively. Come on, folks! It's a mild, slightly acidic cleanser - of course it's not meant for makeup removal. It's a bit unfair to criticize it for something it's not designed to do.
