The color intensity is similar to MAC's Impassioned, but it has more of a velvety feel, which sets it apart. It glides on smoothly like a crayon and photographs beautifully. When mixed with orange-red, it's absolutely electrifying! It tends to stain quite a bit, making it challenging to remove. It also transfers easily when eating or drinking. It seems to be a hybrid between a tint and a lipstick. The case is a bit difficult to open and feels stiff when closing. This packaging could use a more luxurious redesign. Perhaps that's why it feels a bit pricey for what it is. Applying it over a non-greasy lip balm helps prevent it from drying out over time. As someone with dry skin, I find that matte lipsticks tend to make my lips feel cracked as time passes, so I sometimes layer lip oil over the lipstick.
