Conveniently tackles three functions in one go: cleansing, pore purification, and masking The downside is that I can't really feel a significant difference compared to other face masks I like it - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJan 19, 2019
My skin became radiant and incredibly hydrated after use. It also had a calming effect, reducing the redness I had before application. All signs of irritation subsided! I can't think of any downsides, to be honest! It would be great if they offered bundle discounts when purchasing multiple packs in the future. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedSep 15, 2018
I have sensitive skin with a compromised skin barrier, slightly dry in the T-zone and oily elsewhere. The cause of my damaged skin barrier was over-exfoliation. Exfoliation is truly a double-edged sword in skincare. While it's a crucial first step, overdoing it can wreak havoc on your skin barrier and lead to sensitivity. Originally, I had thin but normal skin that rarely developed dead skin cells. Looking back, a gentle exfoliation every two weeks would have sufficed. However, I was brainwashed by TV and magazines into believing I needed to exfoliate 1-2 times a week, and with harsh, grainy scrubs no less! After that experience, I became wary of exfoliation. I couldn't avoid it entirely, but every time I tried, I braced myself for blemishes. Desperate for a solution, I searched for gentler products, even if they were less effective. I settled for products that simply didn't cause irritation, without any real satisfaction. Then I tried Bicle, and wow! I can't believe I didn't discover this sooner! It's so gentle that at first, I wasn't sure if it was actually exfoliating. Unlike other mild products that barely seemed to work, Bicle was both gentle AND effective! I felt the difference immediately after rinsing - my skin was incredibly smooth, and even the next day, it felt like baby skin. My makeup went on flawlessly too! Even though it's gentle, I still follow up with soothing products since I have sensitive skin. I used to use hydrating sheet masks or essence packs, but having a dedicated soothing and hydrating mask is fantastic. The calming effect and hydration are amazing! After using the mask, my skin feels so plump and bouncy. I used to dread exfoliation, but now I look forward to it! Even on days when I'm due for exfoliation, my skin texture remains great! For those with sensitive skin like me, be extra careful with exfoliation! Especially avoid grainy scrubs at all costs! To sum up: Gentle enough for sensitive skin! Effective exfoliation! Using the mask afterwards makes it perfect! It's a shame it contains PEG. Also, I wish it was a bit more affordable. - Hwahae UserDry SkinRecommendedAug 17, 2018
The microfiber mask adheres perfectly, giving a sensation of excellent absorption! And the next day, my makeup definitely applies more smoothly. The included cleansing foam seems to lack cleansing effectiveness when removing heavy makeup! So I'd recommend using it for light makeup removal. The leftover peeling gel works great on elbows too. - ks*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinJun 11, 2018Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

First off, I loved the 3-step system! The concept of prepping the skin with a cleansing foam, followed by dead skin cell removal to make the skin more receptive, and then nourishing it with a hydrating mask really appealed to me. It's actually similar to my usual routine when I want to pamper my skin - foam cleanser, exfoliation, then mask. Having it all in one set is so convenient compared to using separate products, which can be exhausting. The simple, clean design also gives off a pure and fresh vibe, which I appreciate. Step 1: Cleansing Foam I was pleasantly surprised by the foam. The description mentioned it might not lather much due to the surfactants used, but it actually produced a nice, soft, and moisturizing foam. It cleansed gently without any irritation and left my skin feeling hydrated afterwards. It was a genuinely enjoyable cleansing experience! Step 2: Peeling Gel The exfoliating particles in this gel dissolve as you massage, so it's not harsh on the skin like a sugar scrub. Instead, it's designed to gently roll off dead skin cells along with the product. I could tell they really tried to minimize irritation here. After using the peeling gel, my skin felt noticeably smoother and more refined. Step 3: The Mask Finally, the mask! It had a pleasant, subtle scent that made the whole experience feel like a spa treatment. The mask adhered well to my skin. I actually refrigerated it before use, which seemed to enhance its soothing effect. After removing the mask, my skin felt plumped up, as if all the nourishing ingredients had deeply penetrated my skin. I left the mask on for about 40-50 minutes, which I'd recommend for maximum benefit. At the 15-20 minute mark suggested in the instructions, it was still extremely moist - almost wet! After removing the mask, I finished with a light layer of cream, though honestly, the mask left my skin so hydrated it wasn't really necessary. I love how the essence absorbs well without feeling sticky or sitting on top of the skin. The main drawback I found is that all three products - the foam, peeling gel, and mask - contain PEGs, which some people prefer to avoid. Also, at 25,000 won for 5 sheets, it's a bit pricey. I could justify 3,200 to 4,000 won per sheet, but 5,000 won each gives me pause. While the performance is great, the price might make me think twice about repurchasing. I still have a few sheets left, so I'll continue to use them and update my review! - 01*****Oily SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedJun 7, 2018Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

I was pleasantly surprised when I received the product. I expected only one sheet mask, but they generously provided a whole pack (5 pieces). I usually do cleansing and masking separately, so this all-in-one product with cleansing foam, peeling gel, and sheet mask is quite novel. It's definitely a practical item. I have super sensitive skin, so I normally avoid peeling gels. However, as a Hwahae Tester, I gave it a try this time! My mother, who has dry skin, also used it as I gave her some masks to try during her overseas trip. -------------------------------------------- 1. Beacle Essential Pure Cleansing Foam I typically use cleansing oil. When using foam cleansers, I usually create a rich lather with a foam net. This time, I applied it directly to my palms. It didn't foam up much, which is apparently due to the minimal use of surfactants. (Using a foam net would create more bubbles.) The scent was absolutely my cup of tea! All three products have the same fragrance, though it might be divisive. It has a slightly herbal smell, which makes sense given the natural extracts like calendula, centella asiatica, and tea tree leaf. As for the feel, my skin always feels great after use - brightened complexion without any dryness. 2. Beacle Essential Pure Peeling Gel Although peeling usually irritates my skin, I trusted the following mask step and gave it a try. Unlike the cleansing foam, this product is an opaque liquid. True to a peeling gel, it leaves the skin surface smooth and soft. 3. Beacle Essential Pure Microfiber Mask I was surprised by the amount of essence in the mask. The mask sheet isn't hydrogel, but rather a soft, slightly thick fabric-like material. It doesn't give that instant absorption feeling where you can't tell you've used a mask. While not sticky, it definitely provides noticeable hydration. The cleansing foam might not suit those who prefer a squeaky clean feel after cleansing. The low-lather formula might make you wonder if it's cleaning effectively, but that's just because of the minimal surfactants - it actually cleanses well! The peeling gel might not be suitable for those with sensitive skin who usually avoid such products (varies by individual). The mask sheet might not appeal to those who prefer hydrogel masks (again, personal preference). While the ingredients are generally good, there's one that concerns me. Also, if you have sensitive skin that doesn't react well to natural extracts or oils, please patch test before use. This product is perfect for those who find it bothersome to buy and use three separate products. It's ideal for minimalists! It's also great for travel use. - re******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedJun 7, 2018Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

It's quite different from what others have written! I've used the foam cleanser and peeling gel two or three times since I had some left over. So I still have two of each remaining... Let's break it down one by one: The foam cleanser is an incredibly moisturizing, low pH product. It seems to have better cleansing effectiveness than the Innisfree Blueberry Low pH Cleansing Foam I was using before! Since I always cleanse with a sponge, I don't need a formula that's highly cleansing and squeaky clean. We know low pH is good, but if you're worried about cleansing power, try using it with a sponge! The peeling gel is truly amazing. It's so gentle, no words needed. One night, I used Stridex, then applied and removed a Bycle mask (I use a mask on Stridex nights because it's too drying for me), and used the peeling gel in the morning. Wow, my skin looked great for about a week. Stridex dissolves dead skin cells, and when I sleep with the mask on, I notice gunk coming off my face during my morning cleanse...? Rubbing it off with my hands was too harsh, so I used to do a gentle peel with another brand's product, but the Bycle peeling gel is incredibly gentle and removes dead skin cells effectively.... It's beautiful... absolutely fantastic, thrilling.... As for the mask, first of all, the amount of essence is incredible... The sheet is so soft and feels like it's holding the essence tightly! But there's really so much essence that after using all 5 masks, I put the leftover essence in a small empty bottle and it filled more than half. So I've been using that instead of my usual essence... yum yum. The downside is that it contains PEG. Also, the ingredient list seems to combine the foam cleanser, peeling gel, and mask all together, so it's unclear which ingredients are in which product... Still, I like it, I really do! Foam cleanser = Let's buy it Peeling gel = BHA/AHA product - Mask (night) - Bycle peeling gel (morning) = Honey honey super honey Mask = Let's collect the leftover essence in an empty bottle. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 5, 2018Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

You know how with those watery essence-type masks, when you sit up, the essence drips down your chin... and if you lie down, it gets into your ears... haha! Since I use a BHA toner, I don't usually exfoliate separately, but I gave the peeling gel a try after a while. It removed dead skin cells gently without irritation, and my skin instantly felt smoother! The mask feels more hydrating than nourishing. The downside is that while it absorbs well without stickiness after use, it leaves my skin feeling slightly dry! I have combination skin, so I applied some Physiogel cream or FMGT cream on the dry areas. The next morning, my skin looked amazing! If you're doing a daily mask routine, exfoliating every day might irritate your skin. You could just open and save Step 2 to use separately - that might work well! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJun 1, 2018Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

The composition was so fun and great, I absolutely loved it! As soon as I saw the set, I thought it would be perfect for travel. Especially for summer! Now is just the right time, isn't it? 2. The cleansing foam was moderately gentle I tried it after removing my makeup with cleansing water. While it didn't create an excessive amount of foam, it lathered up just enough, so it wasn't a big issue! For reference, I prefer slightly acidic products and use various cleansing products depending on my skin condition each day, so I liked this even more. 3. The dead skin cell care was also moderately gentle Haha, everything was moderately good, which I think is best for me! I had a large cystic acne that was bleeding, It only stung slightly on that area, but there was absolutely no irritation on the rest of my skin! I didn't mind since I think it's unavoidable with acne. 4. The mask was amazing! I loved it so much! Personally, I'm not a big fan of sheet masks. I prefer gel masks. But wow, this one was neither too thin nor too thick, and the essence had a strong tea tree scent that was neither too watery nor too creamy... it was perfect! Oh, and while most other face masks instruct you to use them after evening out your skin texture, the Essential Mask didn't have such instructions. So I tried using it right after washing my face as directed. It might just be my impression, but while wearing it, it felt somewhat like those first serums, you know? I could understand why there were no instructions to use it after toner. ☆Anyway! It's perfect for travel! Since we do double cleansing when wearing makeup anyway~ (It should be fine to use for a day or two on a trip!) I think it would be good to use once every two weeks. My skin under the nose is sensitive and can sting terribly if I use the wrong product, so I hesitated for a moment when I smelled the strong tea tree scent, but there was absolutely no irritation! Once I finish this, since it's summer, I plan to purchase more^♡^ The amount of cleansing foam and dead skin cell care product was a bit small. But maybe that's why there was less irritation? Don't use it too often. Once every two weeks seems to be the best. - sk*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinJun 1, 2018Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

The good point was that it's convenient to use one product for cleansing, exfoliating, and masking. After exfoliating and masking, my face became really soft. I've had breakouts before when using creams with PEG, but surprisingly, this product was fine for me. I was skeptical at first, but it worked well! Although I was lucky to receive this product as a Hwahae Tester and wanted to write a positive review, I'll be honest. Many people say it's useful for travel, and while I might pack it if I already had it at home, I don't see any compelling reason to buy it specifically for travel or stock up on it. Personally, I'm very sensitive to exfoliating products and tend to get irritated easily. Also, the ingredients aren't particularly impressive, so I probably won't purchase it.
