I have combination dehydrated skin with severe deep dryness. I've tried many products claiming to be moisturizing, but they only felt good when applied, and I never really felt like they were deeply hydrating my skin. My child also has extremely dry skin that easily develops eczema if I'm not careful. We happened to get this prescribed and tried it together - it's truly amazing! It doesn't feel overly rich on the surface, but you can feel your skin becoming more resilient underneath! I'm already on my second tube and have stocked up on another one in advance. This product works hard for my skin! Unfortunately, it's not easily available in regular cosmetic stores. For my dry, eczema-prone skin, this is the best thick cream I've ever used. I used to rely on Physiogel, which was great for hydration but didn't last long, leaving my skin dry again quickly. The Atobarrier Cream has incredible staying power. I plan to keep using it in the future. It's on the pricier side, and the hospital version isn't easy to find. Other than that, no complaints. It feels incredibly hydrating and has a nice, bouncy texture. I've been using it on my baby, whose skin was so dry that we even suspected atopic dermatitis. We switched to this after trying a sample, having previously used Zeroid for moisturizing. Compared to Zeroid, this feels a bit richer and seems to maintain hydration better. I'm really pleased with it! The downside? Well, it's probably the price. But thankfully, it's covered by insurance, so that's a relief.

During the changing seasons, I was using a gel-type moisturizer but needed more oil, so I ordered this because it's free of harmful ingredients and a dermatological product. But after just one day of use, I got whiteheads the next morning... I had high hopes, but it's disappointing. Also, it applies with a white cast. For those with easily clogged pores, try mixing oil into your gel cream.
