  I received this as a sample and tried it out. On the first day, I thought 'Wow! This is really great!' My skin became incredibly soft. The formula is as thin as water, so I use it right after my toner.

  It applies lightly and the scent wasn't off-putting. I think it might have been unscented, if I remember correctly...

  Cons

  When I applied it, my skin turned red, became inflamed, and blemishes immediately appeared in every pore. I wonder what went wrong...

  Tip

  For those with super sensitive skin, I recommend trying a sample first or at least testing it at Olive Young before purchasing...

  For a BHA exfoliant, I find it's not overly harsh on the skin.

  Cons

  I tried using this on some blemishes around my mouth during my menstrual cycle, but it actually made them worse. I only applied it to specific areas like around my nose and mouth, and since the breakouts appeared exactly where I used it, I'm pretty sure this product doesn't agree with my skin. The ingredients just don't seem to work for me.

  Initially, it felt smooth and seemed gentle after the first day. I thought it wasn't causing any irritation. However, the reality was that while it didn't cause a burning sensation, it was just the beginning of a nightmare...

  Cons

  I'm living abroad and this product was hyped up by influencers. The Hwahae Testers' reviews were also positive, so despite my super sensitive skin and deep dryness, I used it for two weeks. As mentioned above, it seemed to smooth out my skin texture, so I used it diligently. However, I ended up with the worst breakout I've ever experienced, with tiny bumps all over my face (except forehead). These blemishes won't go away, especially with the combination of makeup and face masks. I'm truly upset. It seems BHA ingredients just don't work for sensitive skin. Although this product has high ratings, I hope many people will read my review too. Lesson learned the hard way.

  The best part is that when applied to areas with acne, it noticeably reduces the inflammation by the next day

  Cons

  However, if you apply it all over your face, you might wake up to an explosion of pustular acne in areas that were previously clear. It's ironic, considering we exfoliate to prevent acne in the first place
