While the Aveda brand isn't the most expensive, it's not the cheapest either compared to other shampoos. And the fact that it's not easily found offline is a bit inconvenient! But you can still purchase it conveniently online.

The color-maintaining shampoo I tried was actually quite effective. Of course, it's inevitable that the color will fade the more you wash your hair, but it definitely lasts much longer compared to using other shampoos! I purchased it because it is a color-preserving professional shampoo, and it seemed like the color fading was a bit less than regular shampoos, but the difference was not very significant.

For those with oily hair, if you don't do a pre-shampoo, the shampoo won't lather well enough as the cleansing power is quite weak. And if you don't rinse it out thoroughly, the coating ingredients can make your hair feel sticky and heavy.

The formula had a smooth, slick texture, and while the cleansing power was a bit weak due to the ingredients, the UV protection coating definitely helps prevent fading and the color slowly fades out.

Do not buy it.
The ingredients are quite poor considering the price.

The price is expensive, and the lather is not very good, yet there are several undesirable ingredients like geraniol. If you have sensitive skin, it can cause itchiness, redness on the scalp, and thinning of hair. At least this shampoo prompted me to check the ingredient list, so I gained some insight.

The fragrance is pleasant, and the color is noticeably less prone to fading.

They say it helps extend the life of hair dye, but whenever I dye my hair, the color fades quickly and it turns a reddish-brown (kind of like gochujang) and my hair gets really damaged, so I don't dye my hair anymore.
So I'm not sure about the effects of this dye-extending shampoo.

But even without the whole dye-extending thing, I found that using it leaves my hair feeling less dry and brittle, with a nice bouncy feel to it.

I feel like the effects are even better when using the products from the same line together!
