Unfortunately, that's the only positive thing I can say about it.
ConsMy eyes sting terribly. Is it just me? Even when I'm just washing my face, it's incredibly irritating and itchy. I've never encountered a cleanser like this before. I'm not even washing with my eyes open, so why does this Lagom foam cleanser irritate my eyes so much? It causes cystic acne to appear. Oh no... I bought this because my favorite beauty guru recommended it, but after using it for just a few days, three hard, extremely painful cystic pimples popped up on my face. Two of them went away quickly when I stopped using it, but the one between my eyebrows is still there. It's like there's a hard bead inside, and it hurts so much when touched. What's even more shocking is that I'm currently on Roaccutane, which has completely cleared up my skin. At worst, I might get tiny bumps due to poor condition, but never cystic acne. Yet this Lagom foam cleanser managed to overpower even the Roaccutane and immediately cause cystic acne. It's terrifying. How is this possible? It's an astounding product that even overcomes Roaccutane. It's been two days since I stopped using the Lagom foam cleanser, and the acne is starting to subside. I had been using the Make P:rem Safe Me Relief Moisture Cleanser before (why is that name so long? I had to go to the bathroom to check it). I was on my fourth bottle and getting bored with its gentle, low pH cleansing. I wanted something that would give me that squeaky clean feeling, so I trusted my favorite beauty guru and bought her recommendation. Who knew it would be such a disaster? I'm really in trouble because I thought Lagom cleansers were good and bought not just this foam cleanser, but also their gel cleanser and low pH one - basically all the types. I wonder if the other products will be okay? I'm too scared to use them now. What a waste!

However, there were some drawbacks that prevent me from continuing to use it.
ConsCompared to other products, this one left my skin feeling unusually tight after use. Additionally, I experienced itching in several areas of my face after cleansing, which led me to switch to a different product.

The scent is nice. Since I came here to write about the downsides, I'll move on.
ConsAlright, let me start by saying I've been using this for about 2-3 months. I have slightly dry skin and what you'd call good skin that doesn't really get blemishes. For the first month or so, I used it without issues. It felt like it was cleansing thoroughly, leaving my skin squeaky clean. But gradually, after each wash, my skin started to feel a burning sensation and became itchy. I have cats, so I thought maybe it was because of their fur. Even after applying emulsion, the burning feeling persisted. I didn't immediately think it was the cleanser's fault because the burning was mild, and it coincided with when I switched to a different cream. A few days ago, a friend visited and tried the Lagom cleanser. She said it made her skin very dry and flaky. That's when I realized why my skin had been burning all this time. I immediately tried a different low pH cleanser, and there was absolutely no discomfort. I'm glad I figured it out before using it for too long. As soon as I stopped using the Lagom cleanser, my skin found its salvation. I recommend using a low pH cleanser instead.
TipDon't ruin your skin, just throw it away

My skin type: Combination dehydrated skin with excess oil. A gentle foam cleanser! The texture itself is rich and smooth. The scent is subtle and not overpowering, so I don't think there will be strong opinions about the fragrance either way. Even with a small amount, it lathers up nicely when you massage it in. It's soft and has excellent cleansing effectiveness. It focuses on basic cleansing functions, so considering the price and volume, I think it will last a long time. Except for those with super sensitive skin, I believe most people can use this without issues.
ConsWhile the cleansing effectiveness is good, I deducted one star because of the PEG ingredients, which is disappointing. It feels smooth when massaging, but when rinsing with water, there's an intense squeaky-clean feeling. This might vary from person to person, but I personally don't like that squeaky sensation. After rinsing, it doesn't feel dry, but it seems like the skin's moisture has evaporated, so I applied a generous amount of hydrating cream. On days when my skin condition isn't great, it can feel slightly itchy. If you dislike that squeaky-clean feeling, you might not reach for this product often, which is a bit of a letdown.

The cleansing effectiveness is also pretty good.
ConsDespite that, it didn't suit my super sensitive skin. I tried it on recommendation, but after just one use, my skin became terribly itchy and I really suffered. When I looked into it, I found the ingredients weren't great. If you have sensitive skin, please carefully consider before purchasing.
