This Japanese foam cleanser has that unique, dense texture characteristic of its kind. A little goes a long way in terms of lather, so I used it sparingly. Its cleansing effectiveness is impressive, though it can leave the skin feeling a bit tight afterwards. I always followed up with a toner to balance my skin. I've gone through several of these, and I'm happy to report I've had zero blemishes. For the price point, this product offers excellent performance. It is easy to use comfortably. The scent is not as tart as a lemon, but has a sweet fragrance. The foam is relatively soft, and there are black granules in the foam, but I'm not sure what their role is. I bought it because it said it removes blackheads, but it doesn't seem to be very effective. Also, after washing my face, there is a slightly tightening feeling, and when it gets in my eyes, it stings tremendously.
