It's a clear gel, which makes it easy to apply. Honestly, I've tried other spot treatments before and found their effects minimal, so I wasn't sure if it was necessary. But since my esthetician swears by it, I'm using it with faith. I'm currently using it alongside medication and ointment, so I'm hesitant to claim it's effective on its own. I'll update my review after trying it independently without the meds and ointment.
