This is definitely a holy grail product for me. I have a lot of oil on my eyelids and hooded eyes, so I never even bothered with eyeshadow before. I always have to carry a mirror around and constantly wipe off my eyeliner because it smears so much. But I happened to be buying a MAC lipstick and asked if there was a way to prevent my eyeshadow from creasing, and they immediately applied this product and dusted on some gorgeous glittery eyeshadow - and it was amazing! The eyeshadow stayed put all evening without any fading or creasing. I was skeptical that I could replicate the results at home, but it really doesn't budge at all. I don't know why I didn't discover this sooner. Thanks to this product, I'm totally hooked on the world of eyeshadow now. This is the absolute best!
ConsNope, nope, not at all. The tube is so pretty, and it's even unscented, which is even better.
TipThis product isn't meant to be applied directly to the eyes. You're supposed to put it on the back of your hand first, then use your finger to gently dab it onto your eyelids. If you apply it straight to your eyes, it can look patchy and thick. The MAC artist told me to warm it up on my hand until it's almost gone, then just lightly sweep it over my lids. That way, it melts in seamlessly and looks so natural. Just the tiniest bit is all you need - about the size of a rice grain.
