Due to my job, I often can't touch up my makeup. Even with famous primers and fixers, my makeup would break down after a while, with oil coming through and the surface looking dry and cracked. At a MAC store, an employee who heard my struggles suggested this product. Amazingly, after applying it and doing my makeup, it stayed intact all day! Although it's called a moisturizer, it's not a hydrating cream or emulsion, but a base product with brightening effects. My skin doesn't absorb well when I layer too much, so I try to keep my skincare light before makeup. Usually, primer, base, sunscreen, and foundation would make my makeup look cakey and slide off, forcing me to skip the base. But this product doesn't do that at all. Lately, I've been lazy with makeup, just applying foundation after basic skincare. When I used this product again recently, people commented on how fresh my skin looked. There's definitely a noticeable difference in the finish of my makeup when I use it versus when I don't! It's lighter than other bases, provides a natural brightening effect, and works hard as a fixer too. I'll definitely repurchase it! It's expensive and the amount is small for the price. A downside is that you can't see inside the container, so it's impossible to gauge how much product is left.
