It seems to help repair some hair damage. However, you need to use it consistently. I liked the sample so much that I bought the full-size product, but the sample felt even better. Like with some conditioners, after using it a few times, the back of my neck and hairline started to itch. When I stopped using it, the itching went away. I think it might be due to an allergic reaction to some ingredients. The ingredients aren't great, it's expensive, and I won't be repurchasing. The Gold Lust line (I'm using the shampoo, conditioner, and mask) excels at delivering a serious hydration boost. It fills your hair with moisture so effectively that it dries faster. If you're after a no-frills hydrating shampoo, this is the one. Ultimately, it's not worth the price. It barely reduces friction between hair strands, so while your hair might look good, it's not properly coated. It still ends up frizzy and slightly tangled. Also, while your hair feels light on wash day, the next day it becomes greasy due to the various extracts. Instead of being moisturized on the outside and dry inside, it's the opposite. The deal-breaker is that it contains only a minuscule amount of protein, so it doesn't even begin to address truly damaged hair. Ideal for fine, normal to dry hair. Not recommended for thicker or more damaged hair types.
