(I accidentally bought the wrong shade and couldn't return it since I'd opened it, so she insisted it would suit me perfectly.) Even though it wasn't my choice, I ended up really liking the product. It gives a beautiful skin finish. There's no caking or floating, it minimizes pore appearance (though huge pores are still noticeable), applies thinly, and doesn't lift, resulting in a radiant look. As expected, when used alone, it gets oily quickly and breaks down fast. The coverage isn't as good as I'd hoped either. Most importantly, frequent and prolonged use led to blemishes. This is my go-to product. I love how it gives a natural complexion and has great staying power. I didn't experience any particular blemishes. It's a bit rich for use as a foundation alone. It applies smoothly at first, feeling moisturizing, and then sets to a matte finish. I loved that it has good coverage and even a thin layer covers well. For my skin type, foundation alone doesn't provide perfect coverage, so I use this along with other base makeup. It's not an all-in-one coverage solution, unfortunately. You don't need to squeeze out a lot initially. Great staying power! The natural color payoff doesn't create a noticeable difference between your face and neck, and it doesn't look cakey. It absorbs well, leaving a matte finish that stays put. The coverage is also excellent. After some time, it emphasizes pores and turns ashy... Come on, it's Dior... Why did I prefer the version before the renewal? At this point, with mask-wearing, there's no way to prevent pore emphasis on the nose bridge. The staying power is absolutely top-notch. When you build a solid base, even matte finishes don't feel overly drying. While the Skin Forever line has the same shade numbers as other lines, the colors are slightly different. There's a subtle orange tint to it. It works great when mixed with the Skin Forever foundation.
