It's the type of body scrub that you can use in the middle of your shower and just rinse off with water, so it was very convenient to use. I'm the type who needs to thoroughly cleanse everything, so I did an extra wash with a body wash, but even just rinsing it off with water didn't leave a sticky or overly slippery residue! The granule size is about average compared to other scrubs. I usually go for scrubs with coarser granules, but those can sometimes be too harsh. Some products I've tried in the past have even made my skin turn red and sting on first use, but this one didn't cause any strong irritation! It felt quite gentle, almost to the point where I wondered if the exfoliation would be effective, but in the end, it did a great job removing dead skin and left my skin feeling moisturized!
