  It's great for removing light makeup when I'm just wearing sunscreen and base makeup. No blemishes and the scent is pleasant.

  Pros

  When applying eyeliner, I tried using this on a cotton pad and it removes it well. It's also effective for removing full makeup, cleansing most of it off like a regular cleanser, which I'm satisfied with. I love the fresh scent too. They included a sample of cleansing oil, which I haven't tried yet, but I have a feeling it'll be as good as the cleansing water.

  It's a cleansing water that's easy to use, so I didn't really find any downsides.

  The subtle fragrance is absolutely delightful. It's a cleansing water, but it's surprisingly hydrating! While I don't usually wear much makeup, I tested it on the back of my hand for this review.   I've always used Bioderma, but I decided to try this one since it's cheaper and has good reviews. Unlike Bioderma, which can really sting if it gets in your eyes, this product is much gentler. It's pretty effective at removing eye makeup and lipstick, though it doesn't completely erase the glue marks from false lashes. The fragrance is subtle and pleasant, and it dissipates quickly, which I like. It's perfect for those times when you're too lazy to wash your face but still want to freshen up. The ingredients are also good, so I don't worry about using it.

  Since I'm not used to this type of product, wiping it off with cotton pads seemed to irritate my skin, causing some redness. I probably won't use it too often. I'm not sure if they have a travel-size version, but that would be really handy if they do.

  Since I always use cleansing water, I was running out of my usual product. While browsing Hwahae, I saw this on a hidden deal and decided to buy it. First off, its cleansing effectiveness is impressive - it removes makeup thoroughly. To be honest, I don't wear heavy makeup, so this level of cleansing power is satisfactory for me. Even if it didn't clean perfectly, it wouldn't matter much since I do a second cleanse anyway, but it does a great job of removing everything. The scent is lemony or herbal? Personally, I didn't mind it. When I first used it, the fragrance seemed unique and different, but as I continued using it, I got used to it and eventually didn't even notice it. After use, it felt slightly oily. When I wiped it off with a cotton pad, I noticed some oil residue. It's not greasy or slippery, just a very small amount that actually leaves my skin feeling moisturized rather than dry, which I appreciate.

  Cons

  The scent might be hit or miss for some people. I didn't mind it, but others might... The slight oil residue could also be a matter of personal preference. Price-wise, it seems a bit expensive. If it wasn't on sale, I might not have purchased it.

  Skin type: Dry in spring/winter and combination dehydrated skin in summer/fall. I have super sensitive skin that's prone to blemishes, and occasionally get inflammatory acne when stressed. The fragrant scent makes removing makeup a pleasant experience. It cleanses well, suggesting excellent cleansing effectiveness. After wiping with a cotton pad, it leaves a slightly tacky, hydrated feel. It's gentle and even helps remove dead skin cells, making it convenient enough that I don't need to exfoliate as often.

  The scent might be stronger than expected, potentially divisive. Personally, the finish feels sticky rather than moisturizing, so I follow up with a second cleanse. It doesn't remove waterproof mascara effectively. It causes a stinging sensation if it gets into your eyes.

  Tip

  For waterproof mascara, saturate a cotton pad and gently hold it against your lashes to dissolve the product. While it will eventually come off, I recommend using a dedicated eye makeup remover for mascara. Be careful not to let the product get into your eyes when cleansing!
