Exudes luxury Estée Lauder is famous for their foundations, and their compact powder is just as impressive. The high-end feel makes it even more appealing. Excellent coverage As expected from Estée Lauder, the coverage is superb. However, applying too much can make it feel a bit heavy. Dryness It's inevitably a bit drying. I recommend prepping your skin with plenty of hydrating skincare before application. When the heater is on during winter, it can make your skin look cracked. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedSep 4, 2022
Estée Lauder really delivers when it comes to adherence and coverage! The staying power wasn't bad either, and I'm satisfied that it barely transfers onto my mask. While some oiliness does appear over time, it doesn't feel excessive compared to other products. It also works great for touch-ups! As a long-time user of Estée Lauder foundation, I had high hopes for the coverage of this cushion. While it's a bit disappointing that the coverage isn't as strong as I expected, I'm still finding it useful for touch-ups. - sp*******Oily SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinJul 17, 2022
There aren't many positives to highlight. The main advantage would be the natural-looking color that doesn't appear cakey. If you were expecting something similar to Double Wear foundation, you might be disappointed. The unpleasant scent makes application an off-putting experience. Moreover, it doesn't seem to stand out from other cushion foundations. The coverage, staying power, and color are all rather underwhelming. It's hard to distinguish this from budget products sold on home shopping networks. It lacks the matte finish and excellent coverage that Double Wear is known for. If the fragrance were at least pleasant, it might have been somewhat salvageable. I've tried applying it without any skincare underneath, and it didn't look patchy. The particles must be quite finely milled. - in******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedMay 25, 2022
As someone who craves Estée Lauder products, I have to say this one is amazing, but it does have its downsides. Let me start by saying I have super sensitive combination dehydrated skin. My face gets so oily you could practically fry an egg on it. Just a light scratch with my nail leaves a visible trace. But that's common with most compacts, so I can't complain too much. The shade is a bit tricky though. I use 21 Beige, but it has a yellowish undertone that makes me look like I'm wearing a mask - like my head is floating! It's giving me triangle kimbap vibes. I'm a bit stressed about having to use it all up, especially during these COVID times when I can't share it with anyone. On the bright side, the sponge is delightfully bouncy and applies the foundation smoothly. Plus, there's a certain thrill in carrying around a compact with the Estée Lauder logo - it's that feeling all us ladies know and love. The product doesn't transfer easily onto the puff, which reminds me of those nearly empty testers at cosmetics stores. But the coverage is fantastic! It's perfect for photos or small gatherings, even date nights with the boyfriend. Just bring this along and you're good to go with its excellent coverage. The downside is that it's not very sweat-resistant and tends to slide off easily. - dk*******Combination SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedMar 4, 2022
This has been my holy grail product for 5 years, having gone through at least 10 compacts. I've splurged on various trendy cushions without hesitation, but nothing comes close to the Estée Lauder cushion. It applies thinly yet adheres beautifully to the skin, with a gorgeous wear-down and excellent longevity and coverage. Plus, when set with a fixer, it barely transfers to masks. Whenever people compliment my skin and ask what cushion I use, I always recommend this one. It seems they've recently undergone a reformulation... No matter how hard I try, I can't find it anywhere. If I had known, I would have stocked up on at least ten compacts. Usually, reformulations don't live up to the original. I really wish they'd just keep selling the original version. I'd even take ones close to expiration - if anyone has refills they'd sell me at a discount, please let me know! Using Estée Lauder cushion is a makeup pro-tip in itself. - he********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 14, 2022
It didn't irritate my skin at all. I'd recommend it even for super sensitive skin. The color payoff is great and looks natural. The only downside is the small amount you get for the price. It's a bit expensive, but that's about it. - Hwahae UserDry SkinRecommendedAug 29, 2021
I love it! It makes my face look radiant. I didn't experience any blemishes. I didn't experience any blemishes. There's nothing particularly disappointing about it. It's great! - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJul 21, 2021
This cushion foundation is fantastic! The adherence, coverage, and longevity are all great. While it might feel a bit dry for winter use, it's not an issue at all if you prep your skin well with a good skincare routine. The only downside is that it comes with just one refill. The price is a bit steep, but everything else about it is wonderful. - yj******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRecommendedMay 31, 2021
I start my day's makeup with Estée Lauder foundation in Ivory Nude. This cushion is my go-to for touch-ups on the go, and it's honestly the best cushion I've ever used. Initially, I wasn't planning to buy it, but while searching for a cushion without stearic acid (which gives me blemishes), I discovered this one didn't have it. Almost every other cushion contained it! This is the first cushion I've used that doesn't cause breakouts, so I'll be loyal to it forever. I chose this shade after seeing someone with a similar complexion to mine use Ivory Nude foundation and compare various cushion shades. This one looked the closest match, and I'm glad I bought it. Oh, and I didn't notice any darkening of the product over time! The puff isn't great. I find the Pily Pily Cushion Pang Pang puff works better for me. - dm********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedMay 14, 2021Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

I originally used the Double Wear foundation in the same shade, and there was hardly any color difference! The cushion is just a tiny bit darker. 2. As expected, Double Wear is the king of coverage... I tend to have facial redness, but with just one light touch, it covered about 90% of my redness. 3. This powdery feel is amazing! I absolutely can't stand sticky makeup, so I usually have to use powder after foundation, but with this cushion, there's hardly any transfer even without powder. (There's really, really minimal transfer onto masks!) 4. The cushion case design is so beautiful! I once lost this cushion before, and even then I thought they did a great job with the design. It's an absolutely fantastic design! 1. This doesn't apply to me, but those with dry skin might find it difficult to use! It's quite matte and powdery, so it might feel tight on your face! 2. It sets quickly, so if you try to dot it all over your face before blending, you might have trouble spreading it. I usually apply it gradually on my cheeks, chin, forehead in that order, so I didn't have any issues.
