  Pros

  I received this as a sample and liked it so much that I ended up purchasing it separately! While it doesn't give an overwhelming sense of skin soothing, it's quite helpful in reducing redness.

  Cons

  Being a gauze mask, it feels a bit stuffy on the skin. Also, after removing it, the absorption rate is rather slow.

  Tip

  The price isn't too steep, so you can use it without hesitation when needed. You can even apply the leftover essence on your body for extra hydration.

  When my skin needed a hydration boost, using one of these masks really did the trick!

  Pros

  I loved how generous the amount of product was. There's enough left over to apply to your arms, legs, and neck too!

  Cons

  Personally, I don't like feeling suffocated, so I'm not a fan of thick masks. This one was quite thick, and the essence inside had a runny consistency, which made it feel uncomfortable on my skin.

  I can't find a single positive thing to say... It really just turned my face upside down.

  Cons

  Honestly... sigh... I regret using this mask pack. When I applied it before bed after washing my face, it felt a bit suffocating and like it was clogging my pores. I still kept it on for about 10 minutes, hoping it might help cool down my face, and then went to sleep. But when I woke up, my skin was completely wrecked! Before bed, my atopic dermatitis wasn't severe, but in the morning, my entire face was swollen, hot, and bright red. If you have severe facial atopic dermatitis like me, please don't use this... I used it because the ingredients looked fine on Hwahae, but now I can't trust that anymore...

  Tip

  For those with facial atopic dermatitis... I strongly advise against this product.

  Unlike other sheet masks, this one is thicker, living up to its name as a gauze mask, which might feel a bit heavy. However, it's not rough at all and feels soft, making the experience quite pleasant. It has a good balance of hydration and richness, with moisture being more prominent. While it might not be moisturizing enough for dry skin, I'd recommend it for combination skin types! The day after using this mask, you'll be amazed at how soft your skin feels. There's no tingling or blemishes, making it highly recommended for those with super sensitive skin!

  Some might find it a bit stifling due to its thickness. However, when it comes to the amount of serum and effectiveness, it definitely delivers!

  Pros

  I was worried it might be like The Face Shop's gauze mask, but it turned out to be a thick mask that clings to the skin, unlike Dr. Belmeur's stiff gauze. It's moisturizing and absorbs well. I'm not sure about its soothing effects though.

  Cons

  I liked it, but my husband experienced itching after use, so I deducted one star. It's frustrating not knowing what didn't agree with him.

  Pros

  Cooling effect: It was quite nice. I kept it in the fridge for about a day, then used it at night after cleansing and toning. It felt refreshingly cool and pleasant. Hydration: I can confidently say this is one of the most moisturizing products out there. Truly, all COSRX products seem to be incredibly hydrating. I've been using their Calming Toner and Daily Emulsion lately, and both are amazingly moisturizing - it's incredible! Absorption: While it may not absorb as quickly as COSRX's Daily Emulsion, I found that gently patting it in after removing the mask helped it absorb well. After absorption, my skin felt wonderfully firm and supple. Ingredients: As expected, there were absolutely no harmful ingredients, making it extremely gentle. I accidentally got some of the essence in my eye while applying the mask and was really worried, but surprisingly, it didn't hurt at all. Other mask essences would sting even with the slightest contact, but COSRX's gauze mask essence was so gentle, it was truly touching.

  Cons

  Perhaps because it's a gauze mask, even after just 5 minutes, my face felt stuffy and hot. It was really uncomfortable.

  Pros

  I didn't buy this directly, but received about 10 sheets as gratis with my Cynic Simpline purchase. Having super sensitive skin, I'm usually cautious with face masks as they can cause reactions. I checked the ingredients on Hwahae before trying it. While it didn't suit me perfectly, the ingredients seemed gentle. Initially, I felt some discomfort and itching a few minutes after applying, but once I removed the mask and patted in the essence, it felt much better.

  Cons

  Despite the gentle ingredients, I experienced a suffocating sensation and itchiness while wearing the mask. I suspect it might be due to the sheet material. Similar to my experience with Sidmool's polysaccharide mask, where the sheet caused redness, this one also made my entire face flush. Although it subsided after about 10 minutes, I'm hesitant to try it again.
