I bought this as a deep cleansing option because my regular cleansing foam wasn't effectively removing sunscreen, and I'm quite satisfied. Being a balm type, there's no disaster of it dripping everywhere when rubbing it in. It cleanly removes most eyeliner and mascara without needing a separate remover, which is great. The emulsification process is decent too. On lazy days, I just use this cleansing balm for my first cleanse and then move straight to skincare. For a product with high oil content like balms or oils, it leaves surprisingly little of that slippery, oily residue. Overall, it's a product I'm really happy with. It effectively removes even waterproof eye makeup. I love that it's so thorough, there's no need for double cleansing - this alone does the job perfectly! I've tried both the 'Nourishing' and 'Revitalizing' versions. They're both fantastic! They seem to cleanse even better than cleansing water, and they're lighter and rinse off more easily than oil cleansers. Sometimes emulsion-type cleansers don't agree with my skin, but I've never had that issue with Banila Co's cleansing balms. No matter what other cleansing products I try, I always end up coming back to Banila Co's cleansing balm. It removes makeup well, feels light, doesn't cause blemishes, and doesn't leave my skin feeling too dry after cleansing. Nothing beats this product for removing dead skin cells and blackheads It has a slight scent, but people might perceive it differently

With regular cleansing oils, no matter how careful I was, my eyes would always end up stinging and getting cloudy. But this one maintains the same cleansing power without those annoying side effects. Every time I use it, I have to scoop out the balm and put it on my face or hands before closing the lid. I loved how it seemed to dissolve impurities. While I'm not sure about its waterproof makeup removal, it does an excellent job of cleansing regular makeup. This cleanser works incredibly well! I love that it doesn't leave my skin feeling overly dry after washing. It has a white sorbet-like texture that quickly melts with the warmth of your hands, transforming into an oil. It's great for massaging and rolling to remove impurities, and then you can emulsify it with water. The emulsification process is quick and convenient. Even after following up with a foam cleanser, my skin didn't feel dry at all. The only downside might be that storing the spatula isn't very convenient. Make sure to emulsify it thoroughly, just like you would with a cleansing oil!
