Since it's a dermatologist-recommended sunscreen, I just felt confident using it! It leaves my skin feeling quite rich after application. Also, it seems to darken as time passes, which is disappointing. I used this along with a brightening moisturizer. I found that applying it with my hands works better than using a puff. - dw******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedNov 16, 2023
Being a mineral sunscreen, it wasn't irritating. It also didn't make my skin greasy. There's a white cast when applying. You also need to double cleanse to remove it completely. It's on the pricier side - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMay 21, 2023
Due to my skin condition, I can't wear makeup, but I still needed sunscreen. After extensive research, I ordered this. It feels gentle and doesn't irritate my skin. Understandably, applying sunscreen to skin with a pre-existing condition might have contributed to some blemishes. - fi************Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 11, 2023
I switched to this sunscreen after hearing it's used in dermatology clinics, and I'm more than halfway through the bottle now. I'm really satisfied as it hasn't caused any blemishes on my face. It provides just the right amount of hydration, which is great for me since I tend to have deep dryness. It's working out well! Everything about this product is great, but the price is a bit wicked. That's the only downside. - ye**********Normal SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 9, 2023
First off, I'm using this product well on my oily skin without any blemishes. I love how it provides a nice brightening effect for a radiant face while also offering sun protection. It was a bit disappointing that some oiliness remained as time passed. The stable ingredients make it recommendable for those prone to blemishes. - tj********Combination SkinAcne SkinMar 22, 2023
As someone with oily and sensitive skin, I've struggled to find suitable cosmetics. This product is great because it controls oil and works well for my complexion. However, since the reformulation, it seems an ingredient was added that doesn't agree with my skin. My face feels itchy, and I've noticed increased oiliness. I preferred the original formula. - da*************Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedMar 7, 2023
I noticed this product being used at the dermatologist's office, so I thought it might be good and decided to purchase it. 1. It's a mineral sunscreen, so it doesn't stress the skin. 2. It's more affordable compared to other dermatologist-recommended sunscreens. Overall, it was a decent sunscreen! If you want to try a mineral sunscreen + a dermatologist-recommended sunscreen, this is one you probably won't regret using. At the dermatologist's office, they applied only a small amount, so I didn't notice the dryness. But when I used it at home in my usual amount, it was extremely drying. When I apply makeup over it, my makeup flakes off completely. After reading the Hwahae reviews, it seems I might have used the pre-reformulation version... - Hwahae UserCombination SkinRecommendedJan 18, 2023
Initially, it was fragrance-free, but after the renewal, they added a pleasant scent. It absorbs well and doesn't leave any white cast, which I really appreciate. It's a bit frustrating that you can only purchase this from dermatology clinics, making it difficult to get hold of. - Hwahae UserOily SkinJul 19, 2022
The way it absorbs is truly excellent. It doesn't leave any patchiness on the skin. The scent isn't pleasant... It seems different from other regular sunscreens. - ka********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinDark CirclesRecommendedJul 10, 2022
- Brightening effect I could see my complexion naturally improving when I used it. - Scent The fragrance is... quite salty? There's a strong, lingering smell. That's a bit disappointing.
