The liquid formula absorbs incredibly fast. Plus, the scent isn't overpowering. The downside of the liquid type is that it tends to drip, making application a bit tricky. I ended up using it in place of toner. However, after applying it and sleeping, I woke up with about a dozen new blemishes. I suspect the oil or fragrance ingredients don't agree with my skin. Also, while it was fine with other products, it seems to clash with Primera's hydrating cream. (I've never had issues with the other products.) As someone with severe deep dryness, I've never found a toner that could tackle it on its own. But this Essential Source - is it because it's not just a skin or toner? The texture is similar to a toner, but applying this twice seems to address my deep dryness. I received it as a gift and was pleasantly surprised by how well it works. The downside is that it's not very well-known. This makes it hard to find in stores, and when trying to buy online, there's a huge price difference between the official website and other sites, leaving me unsure where to purchase. Because of this, I'm considering switching to a different product. In my personal opinion, it pairs well with the noni ampoule! Applying just these two leaves my skin feeling plump and hydrated.
