As I had never used a feminine wash before, my expectations were high. I had been considering using one due to chronic vaginitis, but since doctors' opinions on their use varied widely, I had refrained from using them. However, this time I got to try one for the first time after being selected as a Hwahae Tester! First off, I felt confident using it because it's made with gentle and beneficial ingredients. The scent is subtle, and it lathers well even with a small amount, which I appreciated. Since a little goes a long way, I'm satisfied with the quantity as it should last quite a while. Before using this feminine wash, I had severe discharge due to vaginitis, but surprisingly, it decreased after using this product! This was the most satisfying aspect for me. Additionally, there's no lingering odor from the discharge, which makes me feel good and more hygienic than before.
ConsWhile the scent is subtle and not overpowering, it might be a matter of personal preference. I'm not particularly fond of the fragrance, but it's so faint that it doesn't bother me or make me reluctant to use the product. In my opinion, the feel after use isn't great. It leaves the skin feeling tight, almost squeaky clean, as if all the moisture has been stripped away. Personally, I prefer a smooth feeling after use, so I found the texture disappointing. However, for those who like that squeaky clean sensation, this might be a good fit. The intense cleansing effect makes me worry that it might wash away even the good bacteria, so although it's meant for daily use, I think it's best not to use it every day.
TipI think it would be good to use this product every 2-3 days, either in the morning or evening. Although it's designed for daily use, using it every day might wash away beneficial bacteria, so it's better to use it at regular intervals. It definitely reduces discharge and improves overall hygiene.

Clean finish As far as cleansers go, this one leaves you feeling squeaky clean. After use, there's no residue or foreign sensation, making it a pleasure to use. 2. Universally appealing scent The fragrance is nearly undetectable, with just a hint of floral notes, which is quite pleasant. Unless you're actively trying to smell it, you'll hardly notice it, making it suitable for most users. 3. Rich lather Just a small amount produces a luxurious, fine foam that allows for gentle cleansing without irritation. 4. Sleek design The packaging is so discreet and elegant that no one would guess it's a feminine hygiene product. It's a design you can confidently display anywhere.
Cons1. Excessive cleansing power While I mentioned this as a positive point, the intense cleansing action might be too harsh for those with sensitive or delicate skin. As someone with sensitive skin myself, I found it a bit uncomfortable. 2. Overly abundant foam Ironically, this strength can also be a weakness. The foam is so plentiful that rinsing becomes a challenge. You need to be extremely thorough when washing it off. 3. Slightly concerning ingredients I was a bit uneasy about some potentially problematic ingredients. While there are only two, it's still concerning for a product used in such a sensitive area. I usually choose facial cleansers with zero cautionary ingredients, so this was disappointing.
TipMake sure to rinse thoroughly after cleansing and pat the area dry afterwards.

I got to try this product through an event, and it coincided perfectly with my period, so I put it to good use. I've tried three feminine washes so far: 1. Sidmool Dr. Troub Intimate Foam Cleanser (315ml / $14.80) 2. Uriage Gyn-Phy Intimate Hygiene Protective Cleansing Gel (500ml / $34) - only used as a sample 3. Femfresh Ultimate Care Soothing Wash (250ml / $15) Comparing them, Uriage had the strongest scent and left a slightly slippery feeling after cleansing. I only used a sample recommended by the pharmacy, but after researching the ingredients, I decided not to purchase it. I used it every 2-3 days for about a month, and it felt clean, which was nice for someone prone to discharge and yeast infections. However, I stopped using it because I worried that cleansing too thoroughly might actually be counterproductive for yeast infections. I bought Sidmool after a break from using Uriage because of its good ingredients. It was my favorite feminine wash due to its mildly acidic pH. I used it for a long time, about once a week, not daily. Its mild acidity also made it suitable as a morning facial cleanser. The foam pump dispenser was convenient as it didn't require manually creating lather. Pros of Femfresh Ultimate Care Soothing Wash: * Great lather - Even a small amount produces ample foam, which was especially satisfying during my period when water alone felt insufficient. * Good value - 250ml for $15 is economical, and it should last a long time since it's not for daily use. (I personally think using it once every 7-8 days is appropriate, though the product suggests daily use.) * Pleasant scent - It smells like a mild, universally appealing shampoo. * Hygienic packaging - The pop-up dispenser keeps the product protected from bathroom humidity. * Contains probiotics - It includes Lactobacillus, which is beneficial for vaginal health. * Easily accessible - Available at Olive Young stores. * Cruelty-free - They don't test on animals and oppose animal testing, which is great for those who are conscious about this issue.
ConsCons: * Ingredients aren't as gentle as expected - For such a sensitive area, I'd prefer milder ingredients. Those who are very ingredient-conscious might hesitate to choose this. * Cleanses too thoroughly - While this might be a pro for a general cleanser, it's not ideal for a feminine wash. It doesn't have the mild cleansing feel of a low pH product. * Fragrance - This is both a pro and a con. Personally, I prefer products without added fragrances, especially for intimate care products. * Lack of product information - I found it difficult to find detailed information about why it claims to have long-lasting soothing effects, how it helps balance pH, or the benefits of cranberry and cornflower extracts. More explanation would help consumers make informed decisions.
TipAlthough I used it daily as part of The Hwahae Testers program, I generally recommend using feminine washes only once every 7-10 days, or as needed - like after your period or when you notice an odor. There's debate among gynecologists about the frequency of use, so this is my personal preference. If you feel more comfortable using it daily for hygiene reasons, that's fine too.
