 Another potential issue with the Laura Mercier Flawless Fusion Long-Wear Foundation is the small size of the pump opening. If the opening gets even slightly narrower, it can cause a disastrous situation where the foundation splatters everywhere. It's important to always keep the pump opening clean and clear to prevent this from happening.

 My recommendation led my sister to purchase the Laura Mercier Flawless Fusion Long-Wear Foundation as well. Since my sister has a slightly less yellow and a bit more pale skin tone than me, she uses shade 21. However, it seems that even the neutral or pink-based shades in the Laura Mercier foundation have a slightly yellow undertone. When my sister used it, the color started to appear dull and darkened over time, and the shade wasn't an exact match, causing a patchy, uneven look. My sister is a consistent user of the Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation in shade 2, which suits her skin tone well.

I would recommend thoroughly testing the color match at the store before purchasing the Laura Mercier foundation, as the undertones may not work for everyone. 

Additionally, the black cap of the foundation has a textured, velvety finish, which tends to show fingerprints and smudges easily, making it look messy. This could also be considered a downside of the product.

 This product is already almost finished, with two bottles used up. I bought another bottle in advance to use later. After washing my face, my skin feels tight, but over time, the forehead and nose area becomes shiny. Since I have both dryness and oiliness issues, I've been looking for a foundation that 1) doesn't clog my pores while being matte, and 2) doesn't break down or look unattractive due to oiliness. As a brand known for its powders, I had high expectations for Laura Mercier's foundation, and it didn't disappoint.

I prefer a healthy-looking skin tone over a pale appearance, so I liked that the Laura Mercier Long-Wear Foundation had a wide range of shades. The Cashew shade, which is a warm 22, matched my slightly yellow-toned skin perfectly. This means I don't have to apply the foundation all the way down to my neck, as there's no visible difference.

Previously, I used the Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation in shade 4. Compared to that, the Laura Mercier foundation has a more powdery finish, while the Armani one gives a very thin, luminous look that really makes the skin glow. Also, the Laura Mercier foundation seems to cover my acne-related discoloration better.

I did test the Estée Lauder Double Wear Foundation, which is known for its extreme coverage, but I didn't like the very thick, heavy feel on my face. The Laura Mercier foundation never feels that heavy, and even a small amount spreads evenly across the entire face, giving a very lightweight and fresh look.

The foundation keeps the oiliness at bay throughout the day, and even if some shine does come through, it doesn't look patchy or unattractive in the pores.

If I had to nitpick, the matte finish on the lid means it's prone to scratches and fingerprints.

This is my holy grail foundation. I've spent so much money on foundations, but this one is truly worth it. I've been using it since I bought it in Japan before it became available in Korea, and it's just amazing. The staying power is unbeatable. It applies so smoothly and dewy, and the finish becomes more and more matte and beautiful over time.
