But once applied, the stain turned out to be a beautiful orange-pink shade. I think it's a tone that suits cool-toned skin really well. It also gives the feeling of instantly brightening up your complexion.
ConsWhen you have dead skin cells, it tends to clump up on top of them... how should I put it? Anyway, it feels powdery but matte.

Applying it fully and then dabbing the darker center creates a gorgeous look. The staying power is surprisingly long-lasting, and it has a nice matte finish.
ConsIt tends to apply unevenly, concentrating in the center. The extremely matte texture makes my lips feel dry and twisted.
TipWhen it applies unevenly or makes your lips feel dry, use a brush to apply some lip balm. If you don't use a brush, well... your lip balm might end up tinted orange!

It's slightly deeper than MAC's Sushi Kiss - perfect if you're a student or prefer a subtle makeup look. It gives you a radiant glow without being too obvious.
ConsI'm quite disappointed. As a fan of Peripera's #1 'Divine Move', I had high hopes for this tint. Firstly, the overpowering scent gives me a headache, making it unwearable. Secondly, despite being a tint, it's matte and accentuates dead skin cells (and it doesn't do the 'blot and reapply' trick). Lastly, it feels like a dry coating on the lips after application. If it accidentally gets in your mouth, the taste and smell are unbearable. The scent is my biggest gripe. I've only used it twice, and now it's just sitting on my vanity. Sorry for focusing on the negatives, but everyone has different preferences when it comes to scents and matte lip tints. Please take this as just one perspective.
TipTo avoid emphasizing dead skin cells, try applying just a tiny dot and gently spreading it. Keep in mind that each Peripera tint shade has a different texture and application. Instead of buying based solely on color, it's best to test them out and find the type that works for you.

It's a refreshing peach aroma that I can't get enough of. • Color Initially, it appears apricot-colored, but once applied to the lips, it gradually develops a pink undertone, transforming into a classic coral shade. It's stunningly beautiful! • Ingredients While the ingredients are fairly standard for a tint and not particularly exceptional, it's perfect for me since I have an allergic reaction to Red No. 202. What a relief! • Gradient Effect The Airy Velvet lives up to its advertising claims. Just a couple of gentle pats create a lovely gradient effect, making application a breeze.
Cons• Texture The Airy Velvet texture seems to be polarizing, and unfortunately, I'm not a fan. While it applies smoothly and feels lightweight for a matte lip product, I found the adherence and longevity to be lacking. There's also quite a bit of transfer, which was disappointing for me personally. • Staining The staining effect is moderate, but as mentioned earlier, the pink undertones become more prominent over time. As the outer layer of tint wears off, it leaves behind a pink stain, which might not be everyone's cup of tea.
TipWhat's this about patting it two or three times after application?

ConsIt's a bit too matte, so it might feel dry if applied on its own.
TipI think it would work well layered over other grapefruit or red-toned tints.

I have a light undertone, and although this color is known to be for deep undertones, it somehow suits me without looking odd or out of place. As someone with long hair, I prefer matte lips over sticky ones that my hair clings to - I'm a total matte lip enthusiast! That's why I love Peripera's Ink the Airy Velvet. There were mixed opinions about the scent of the original Ink the Airy Velvet shades 1-5, but this new 18 S/S collection has a much-improved peach fragrance. It's also less likely to emphasize dead skin cells or fine lines. You can apply it smoothly without any special lip care, making it perfect for students who want to wear makeup discreetly at school. The color is vibrant and makes your face appear brighter, so it's likely to suit most people without looking unnatural.
ConsWhile it usually applies smoothly without emphasizing dead skin cells, on days when my lips are in really bad condition, there can be a slight emphasis on flaky skin. But I think that's unavoidable with most matte lip products.
TipIf you find the Airy Velvet formula drying, try applying a tube lip balm after application to eliminate any dryness.

The pigmentation is pretty decent, and its slightly matte finish is spot-on.
ConsIt's almost undetectable when applied, which can be a bit too subtle. The matte finish tends to accentuate dead skin cells.
