  I have combination dehydrated skin. When moisturizers don't absorb quickly, my makeup tends to pill. But this cream absorbs incredibly fast! The generous amount allows me to use it on my body too. It's probably the best among affordable creams!!!

  Cons

  The hydration doesn't last very long. It feels a bit lacking when applied before bed.

  It's so moisturizing and wonderful for my previously very dry skin. I've heard that hydration is the most important factor in slowing down skin aging. My skin has been feeling quite tight lately, so I bought this and I'm extremely satisfied with it.

  The lasting power doesn't seem to be as long as I expected. I think Avène products tend to last longer on the skin.

Still have about 1/8 left (one tube unopened). The tube packaging is more hygienic than jar versions. It's versatile for both face and body use. I even use it instead of aloe gel for my sun allergy when I'm hesitant to use steroid creams prescribed by dermatologists. It's incredibly soothing and doesn't leave that weird film-like feeling that dried aloe gel does. So satisfying! Though I don't wear makeup, I like to apply this as a base before my final moisturizer in my skincare routine. It helps combat dryness.
