And it certainly does not disappoint the rave reviews from overseas reviewers!! Besame lipsticks have amazing staying power, even though they are lipsticks!! The color payoff is of course great as well! I usually apply it in the morning and it lasts almost the entire day, which is hard to believe..ㅎ It also doesn't emphasize any flakiness. The Besame brand itself reconstructs vintage lipstick shades from specific years (Red Velvet was popular in 1946), and I really like that concept. Plus, it's a brand that produces really beautiful shades, so this is truly one of my favorite lipsticks.
ConsIt's not exactly cheap though ㅠㅠ It costs around $24 since it's handmade. And since it's handmade, the amount of product in each lipstick can vary slightly. Personally, I didn't have any issues with the feel of the lipstick when using it!
TipThe Besame website also has instructions on how to apply their lipsticks. To maximize the staying power, they recommend applying the lipstick once, gently blotting with a tissue, and then applying another layer and blotting again. This apparently helps the lipstick last much better.
