The best for dry skin.. No matter what moisturizer I apply, they all dry up quickly, and even the Avène Regenerating Cream felt heavy and good, but over time it dried up too.. Gelavit doesn't feel heavy and doesn't cake up, and it expresses moisture well. Pros
I have sensitive, dry, and combination skin. When my skin gets dry, I tend to get blemishes and irritation. During work, I need to apply moisturizer 3 times just to prevent breakouts, but I couldn't do it due to being busy, and ended up with blemishes that I had to cover up. However, when I started using this cream, the blemishes started to calm down surprisingly. The scabs from other blemish treatments have all fallen off, and the area under my lips has recovered to the point where it's almost back to normal. The moisturizer doesn't feel overly heavy anymore, and I only need to apply it once or twice at work. The dryness and itchiness on my face have also stopped, so I don't feel the need to scratch it. I saw results quickly, and as long as I don't experience any more breakouts from continued use, I plan to keep using it. My routine is: essence 2-3 times → (lotion) → vitamin cream → moisturizer. I also sometimes finish with a urea lotion.

Ever since using this cream, my chronic nighttime dryness has disappeared and my skin troubles have significantly calmed down. When my skin would break out from prolonged makeup use, applying this before bed would help soothe it by the next morning.
Cons
It's a bit too thick to use on its own - it doesn't spread very evenly, so you'll need to apply something else along with it.

I bought one because it was inexpensive and have been using it for about a week, and I have two more stocked up. The moisturizing power is really, really good. Occasionally, I get some breakouts, but after using this product, the bumps have significantly subsided or disappeared. It has a fair amount of oil, but it's quite amazing that it doesn't cause any breakouts. I only use it in the evenings, and after applying it, my skin feels plump, and in the morning, my skin is silky smooth. I think this is a great product to use during the transitional seasons or winter.

As someone with dry skin, I don't have to worry about moisturizing in the winter with the Gellavit Vitamin Cream. It may seem like it doesn't absorb well when applied, but it gets absorbed quickly and leaves my skin feeling hydrated. Even my friend who was only using Cicaream products because of acne has seen a lot of improvement after using this product. I think this is a great option for those with dry, troubled skin!

I've been purchasing this product in a blind belief that it's effective for my red and swollen acne. As I have oily skin, I can't use it as an all-over cream, so I only apply it to specific areas like around my eyes and chin at night.

The packaging... The silver coating is melting due to the contents, and it's frustrating that the lid is getting covered in it. But what really bothers me is the huge hole that has formed in the main container, causing the product to leak out. This is the best for calming acne!!!!! I only use this, besides the lotion! When you apply it generously to the areas with a lot of acne, it's magical how it subsides by the next day!
