Pros For almost 8 years, I haven't had a perm or dye, so I used a treatment for the first time in about 8 years. I usually don't use treatments because I dislike the slippery and residual feeling, but I really love products with a minty, menthol scent that give a cooling sensation, so I started using this.
☺Cooling Sensation: When applied, the intense minty scent is very refreshing. And the cooling sensation is amazing, just as much as the fragrance. When applied to the arms and legs, it has a tingling, toothpaste-like sensation. This may be a major drawback for those who dislike this tingling feeling, but I love the fragrance and cooling sensation. But thinking about it, treatments are meant to be used on the hair, not the scalp, so I'm not sure why the cooling sensation is necessary. However, when rinsing it off, it slightly touches the scalp, and there's a strange sensation of the hair temperature feeling cooler after drying.(?!)
☺Lingering Fragrance: I've used many shampoos with menthol ingredients before, but the lingering fragrance was almost non-existent in most of them. Not that it's bad, but the products were mostly fragrance-free. But this product has a subtly floral, fragrant scent after drying that I really enjoy. It's similar to the scent of shea butter or milk-based hand creams. The fragrance is not overpowering like a perfume shampoo, but lingers pleasantly.
☺Packaging: Although it's not shown in the photo I took while using it, the packaging was beautifully wrapped with a paper lid, similar to the lid on a glass milk bottle, when I first purchased it. The paper lid was so cute and pretty, but had to be discarded, which was a shame. Even without the lid, the bottle itself has a cute design and a slightly velvety matte finish, which makes me feel good every time I see it. It's a product I use daily in the bathroom, so having a nice-looking package is great.
☺Volume (Cost-Effectiveness): The price-to-quality ratio is good, and the volume is generous. When I first bought the product, just looking at the photos, I thought the package was too cute to be a large size. But when I opened the delivery box, I was surprised to find that it was actually a large size - a really cute and generous product. Treatments require less usage than shampoos, so I think this will last me quite a long time.
Cons Ah... Since my back skin is a bit sensitive, when I rinse this off and the water runs down my back, my back feels strangely irritated and itchy. So when using this product, I bend forward to wash my hair so that it only touches my hair. That seems to work fine! I try my best to make sure this product only comes into contact with my hair when using it.
Also, since I haven't tried other treatments, I'm not sure how they compare, but this product is really stinging if it gets in my eyes. It's extremely irritating and the stinging lasts quite a while. Please be very, very careful... Haha, ugh. It's best to use this product with the mindset of only letting it touch your hair.
