It's a shake-before-use product that's pretty standard. I haven't noticed any particular improvements since using this product. It's just an expensive toner, really! It has a lingering scent! I usually apply toner with my hands and cup my face to help it absorb, but even my hands retain a subtle, persistent fragrance afterward. I won't be repurchasing this! It absorbs well, leaving my skin feeling moisturized without any tightness. I love the scent too. I'm really enjoying using this product. There's not much to dislike, but if I had to pick one thing, I wish it was a bit thicker. It feels like it tackles deep dryness. In summer, I always use this essence as it's refreshing while providing hydration. There's not really anything to complain about. The scent isn't unpleasant and the packaging is attractive. At first, I thought it would be good. Be cautious if you have sensitive skin. This product was my go-to for combating deep dryness before the pandemic, based on rave reviews. With consistent use, you can really feel it addressing that deep dehydration. The scent is a bit off-putting. It's hard to describe, but it's somewhat reminiscent of... saliva? There's a hint of that kind of odor. The runny texture is incredibly hydrating and feels plump on the skin. It's great for acne-prone skin as it doesn't cause additional blemishes and really locks in moisture. When applied before makeup, it smooths out dead skin cells, helping your makeup go on beautifully. If you're not a fan of sticky textures, you might not enjoy this. I've been using this essence for n years now! When I apply it, my skin feels soft and smooth. It's great how it makes my skin feel silky. I noticed it had a calming effect when I was dealing with seborrheic dermatitis. It's on the pricier side, but it lasts a long time. I go through about 1.5 bottles a year.
