Scent: The fragrance isn't overpowering, but it reminds me of creams containing cica or centella. I don't think it'll be polarizing - most people should find it pleasant! Texture: It has a moderately rich cream consistency. It doesn't absorb instantly, so you need to gently massage it in circular motions. Once you do that, it sinks right into the skin! If you don't blend it well, you might end up with a white cast on your face... Soothing Effect: True to its "Cooling Down" name, it really helps calm heat and blemishes. My mom has sensitive skin and occasionally experiences flare-ups with irritation. When she applies this cream, it works its magic and soothes her skin within 2-3 days. Drawbacks: The price tag is a bit steep... That's a bummer. That's why I quickly snagged it when it went on sale here recently. Other than that, I can't think of any downsides! Perfect Pairing: My holy grail combination is this cream with Torriden Balance Full Cica Control Serum. This duo is especially fantastic for me during hormonal breakouts when I get clusters of small blemishes all over my face. If I apply this serum and cream combo the night they appear, by the next morning my skin is calmed and clear again. I have super sensitive skin that's prone to irritation, but with this cream and serum... As soon as I apply it, my face feels instantly brightened. I thought it might feel heavy at first, but it's surprisingly lightweight and leaves my skin feeling wonderfully hydrated! Hmm... The only downside might be that it comes in a jar. I'm a bit concerned about the hygiene aspect. The product provides an immediate brightening effect and feels lightweight on the skin while offering good hydration. I've been using this for quite a while now. It seems to be really excellent for soothing my skin! There's nothing particularly bad to mention. It works incredibly well for my sensitive, oily skin!! I highly recommend it. As someone with combination skin that tends to be both sensitive and oily, finding products that work well can be challenging. This one strikes a great balance, providing the calming effects I need without exacerbating my skin's oiliness. My face brightened up and had a lovely glow after applying this product. It really gave me that Inner Glow I was looking for! I think I actually developed blemishes after using this. It has a slightly thick consistency, but when applied, it gives the impression of evening out your complexion, similar to using a brightening moisturizer. I'm using it well for that purpose. The absorption isn't bad at all. ✓ Absorbs well - The texture is slightly thick yet moisturizing. You might think it won't spread easily, but no worries - it sinks in quickly. ✓ Absorption - It feels like it's moisturizing as you apply it, absorbing nicely into the skin. This product is suitable for use in all seasons except summer. If you dislike stickiness and hair sticking to your face, be aware that using this in summer may lead to very oily skin in the morning. Recommended for dry and normal skin types! The formula is too heavy for summer use. In winter, I layer it twice thinly over a serum. Applying that much in summer results in excessively oily skin by morning. On the plus side, it doesn't cause blemishes. I'm currently using this cream over the Wellage Hyaluronic Acid Ampoule.
