I think it's much better than harsh exfoliants. When I wipe my face with a cotton pad soaked in this, my skin feels noticeably smoother. Well, since exfoliation itself helps reduce blemishes significantly, I can't say this product is exceptionally effective compared to others. I gently wiped my face twice using a soaked cotton pad and then rinsed with water. It's mild enough to use daily without irritation, which I appreciate. I like that it allows for gentle exfoliation.
