Oh my goodness! I was so excited to try this on, thinking it looked beautiful. When I swatched it, I literally gasped... it's just so gorgeous! I bought it right away. It's a truly clear, vibrant red that's absolutely stunning! Since it has a moisturizing formula, the staying power is a bit disappointing. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJul 2, 2020
The color is beautiful! It's a red that's just on the verge of turning coral, and it's moisturizing enough to be perfect for daily, light use. Even someone like me who doesn't know much about makeup can apply it easily without any special technique. The staying power isn't great. It tends to fade faster than expected. You can get around this by reapplying often, which is manageable. Oh, and while I bought it on sale, I have to say the regular price is a bit on the expensive side... - Hwahae UserOily SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinJun 4, 2020
The color blends in so naturally, it complements any makeup look! It's moisturizing and the color payoff isn't bad either. Perfect for everyday use! I prefer lip products that stain, but this one is a bit weak in that aspect. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinMay 9, 2020
The lipstick formula is fantastic! My lips tend to get dry and flaky, but this one is just right - not too sticky, not overly moisturizing. It has a lip balm-like texture that adheres beautifully with a subtle glow. It glides on smoothly like a lip balm while providing pretty color payoff. It's exactly the formula I've been looking for! The color is gorgeous! Sometimes pink tones can look off on me, but this shade is like a strawberry jam or apple red? It's a warm reddish-pink that's not too cool-toned, which enhances my natural lip color while giving a beautiful red tint! Even with one application, it looks naturally pretty, and as you layer it, the color intensifies, creating a effect like a beautiful hue is blooming from within your lips. It's not overly moist or sticky, and doesn't have an excessive shine. It's perfect for everyday wear - light and natural-looking while still being pretty, just like a lip balm. I absolutely love it! There's not really anything bad to say, but if I had to mention something, it might come down to personal preference. Those who prefer super moisturizing, high-shine, glossy lips might find this a bit lacking. Try applying a thin layer all over, then gently pat a bit more on the center of your lips - it creates a plump, even prettier look! - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinOct 19, 2019
The color is truly beautiful! It's not matte, but moisturizing. While it might not suit a full face of makeup, it looks absolutely stunning with minimal makeup or a bare face. It adheres so well to the lips! As expected with this type of formula, the staying power isn't great. I have to reapply it frequently, like a lip balm. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinJun 6, 2019
The color payoff is beautiful and it applies smoothly. It glides on like a lip balm but has a matte finish, which is why I decided to buy it. Those with allergies to Red 202 may experience lip inflammation. My reaction wasn't severe and the shade suits my complexion, so I continue using it. However, my lip line gets itchy and I've noticed some small blisters. Please be cautious when purchasing. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinMay 14, 2019
The color payoff is excellent. It's less likely to cause dead skin cells buildup, so it's great for those with dry skin! The staying power is pretty good too. And the color range is just gorgeous! Hmm, I can't really think of any downsides? It seems to be a solid, all-around good product. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinFeb 6, 2019
For a moisturizing lipstick, the color payoff is really impressive. The sleek case design is totally my style. The shade seems like a versatile red that would suit just about anyone. The only downside might be its limited availability. However, it's stocked in a few Olive Young stores, so that's not too bad. I'm not a fan of my thin lips, so I apply it slightly over my lip line and gently smudge the edges with my finger. Just one or two swipes give a natural and beautiful look. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinOct 23, 2018
I tried this lipstick for the first time, and I was worried it might be matte since I have dry lips. But it's not dry at all - it's actually quite moisturizing! Of course, it's not as hydrating as a lip balm, but it doesn't feel dry at all. The color is absolutely gorgeous too. It's red, but a clear, vibrant red. I usually don't like bold reds and prefer more natural looks, but this one is red without being garish. It just gives a fresh, clear look that I love. The staying power seems above average too! It might fade quickly when first applied in the morning, but after that, it stays put pretty well. If you layer it with a lip tint, it lasts even longer. Since it's not matte and has good moisture, it applies very smoothly. You can layer it without any clumping! During long outings, if you keep reapplying, it can emphasize lip wrinkles and the color changes to more of a gochujang red. That initial clear red disappears, unfortunately. After using it for a while, I think it's best not to expect too much in terms of longevity. For touch-ups, it's best to remove the lipstick completely and reapply for the prettiest color result. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinSep 16, 2018
The texture is so delightfully bouncy, it's fascinating (it made me want to keep applying it!). Despite being described as having a lip balm-like consistency, it doesn't compromise on color payoff. It applies beautifully, with rich pigmentation that looks incredibly natural, as if it's your own lip color. Interestingly, the more you apply, the prettier the color becomes. I wore it all day and was absolutely thrilled with the results. Now I understand why everyone around me was recommending it. It's gorgeous! Honestly, I can't think of any downsides. My only concern is figuring out how to budget my allowance so I can buy more shades!
