I love that there's so much product - it lasts for ages! It's fantastic as a primer before applying cushion foundation, making the cushion adhere beautifully to the skin. The shelf life is shorter than expected. As someone with combination dehydrated skin prone to adult acne and allergies, I find this product wonderfully hydrating without causing any blemishes. It's not a thick formula, so I apply it like a moisturizer. There are no downsides. I didn't experience any blemishes or allergic reactions. When you feel like your makeup won't sit well today, applying this can make a slight difference. It's incredibly hydrating. I've found that when my skin is dry, using this as a base works better than layering on more cream, which would likely cause pilling. Since it's not tinted, it also makes for a great gift. The moisturizing, almost water-like texture was perfect for my combination dehydrated skin. After application, my skin felt soft and smooth, which made foundation glide on seamlessly. True to its name as a makeup base, it creates the perfect foundation for your makeup after skincare. It seems to prevent makeup from sliding off too. It applies thinly like an essence, so there's no heavy feeling! If I had to point out a drawback, it's that unlike many products these days that offer tinting or brightening effects, this one doesn't have those features. However, this sensation improves after a little while. I have combination dehydrated skin that's super sensitive and prone to redness. My skin is particularly vulnerable to alcohol-based products, and my biggest concern is my pores. It's moisturizing and my makeup applies beautifully. Especially on my cheeks, which are usually dry and make my foundation flake, but with this, there's absolutely no flaking. I love it! The biggest drawback is that it's a product of these uncertain times... I hope there will be alternative options available soon. I occasionally mix it with my foundation, and I love how it makes my skin feel more hydrated.
