It effectively controls oiliness and even helps reduce scalp odor. I've tried various scents of the Colab dry shampoo, but the lemon neroli fragrance is a bit off-putting... I like all the other products though. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinFeb 13, 2020
Why I bought it: I wash my hair every night due to lack of time in the morning, but after my morning face wash, my bangs would get damp, greasy, and smelly. That's what led me to purchase this. What I liked: I used to use Daiso's 'Oil Blotting Paper Powder' for my greasy bangs. While it helped with the greasiness, it didn't tackle the smell. In fact, when used on slightly damp bangs, it made the odor worse. However, this dry shampoo 'tackles both greasiness and odor simultaneously,' which I loved. Plus, it has a cooling effect when sprayed, which helps eliminate that icky feeling. Unlike other dry shampoos that reportedly leave a white residue, this product didn't have that issue. I wasn't fond of the fragrance. Since it's an aerosol, I couldn't smell it before buying, so I chose this highly-rated product. The pretty mermaid illustration on the package and the lemon & neroli scent description made me expect a fresh, cool water fragrance. Instead, it smelled exactly like the men's cologne 'John Varvatos Artisan Man Eau de Toilette'. As a high school senior girl, I found this 20-something male scent quite unsuitable for me. Pro tip: Follow the usage instructions 1. Shake well. 2. Spray. 3. Massage into hair. 4. Brush through.
