It absorbs well, and I didn't experience any tightness or itching on my face when I woke up or went out after applying it. At first and after application, it feels quite rich. It might be a bit too much for the humid Korean summer... - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJul 7, 2021
Skin type: I have combination dehydrated skin with small blemishes on my forehead. My skin is super sensitive, so even slightly harsh ingredients can cause redness and irritation. This product applies smoothly without any stickiness, making it suitable for those with oily skin. Despite my extremely sensitive skin, I didn't experience any major blemishes. First off, this product doesn't provide much hydration, so I wouldn't really recommend it for those with dry or combination dehydrated skin who struggle with deep dryness. After application, there's a slight white cast that takes some rubbing to fully absorb into the skin. Because of this, it might be a bit inconvenient to use before applying makeup in the morning. The high price point makes it quite expensive, especially for students. - ho*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinNov 22, 2020
It feels just right when applied. The scent is pleasant. The packaging looks stylish. Despite these positive aspects, it's too concentrated, leaving a lot of residue behind. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedAug 2, 2020
It's incredibly hydrating! So much so that you could get away with using just this product. The finish leaves your skin feeling soft and velvety. The price is a bit on the higher side. Also, when you first apply it, there's a slight feeling that it might pill. - rh*********Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 15, 2020
Price: 71,000 won for 60ml Total units used: 4 Usage step: After essence or serum (emulsion texture), before cream Application: Spreads smoothly and easily Absorption: Good Recommended skin type: Combination I originally used the Parsley Hydrator, but switched to Into The Minds when it came out as it's quite nice. A hydrator that's perfect for summer! The price is rather steep, and the fragrance might be a bit unusual for some (personal preference may vary) When I finish my hydrators, I like to add a bit of fragrance-free toner and use them as a toner. - yo********Dry SkinSensitive SkinApr 8, 2020
- Lightweight absorption This product has a clean, non-sticky formula that's not too rich. It seems perfect for those with oily skin. It would also be great to use in summer when you sweat a lot. While it's lightweight, it doesn't compromise on hydration. - Signature Aesop scent If you're a fan of Aesop's distinctive fragrance, you'll likely enjoy this. - Pump dispenser The pump format is a plus, as it's more hygienic and keeps the product clean for longer compared to jars you dip your fingers into. This is one of Aesop's stronger-scented products, so those sensitive to fragrances might find it off-putting, especially since it's applied directly to the face. As someone with dry skin, I found this product alone wasn't quite moisturizing enough. I've been mixing it with an oil product for better results. It's not ideal for use before makeup application. It doesn't provide enough moisture to prevent makeup from looking patchy or pilling. Considering the price, I wouldn't repurchase. There are many facial creams with better value and functionality at this price point. Unless you're a die-hard Aesop fan, it's not a must-buy product. - mo*********Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedNov 2, 2019
The hydration is rich and creamy! And since it's a pump-type container, it's more convenient to use compared to other Aesop cream products in jars. The scent is also pleasantly mild. Being an Aesop product, it's a bit pricey. But other than that, it's quite nice to use overall. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinFeb 9, 2019
The scent and how it absorbs were fantastic! The absorption rate seems pretty good too, don't you think? Unfortunately, as I have sensitive skin, I developed small bumps after using it. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedOct 10, 2018
I really like the pump dispenser. As with most Aesop products, the scent might be hit or miss for some, but I don't find it unpleasant. At first, it feels like it's sitting on top of the skin, but once you work it in well, it feels quite hydrating. I think it'll be suitable to use even during winter. When you first apply it, it doesn't feel great as it seems to float on your skin like an extra layer (I heard this is because it doesn't contain silicone). It gets better after a few minutes, but if you dislike that initial odd sensation, you might prefer using a serum instead. I still have a lot of Biotherm toner left, so I'm only using the Hydrator for now. But based on my experience with the sample, I think it would work even better when used together with Aesop's toner! - in******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedSep 23, 2018
Having lived in a hot, humid country with long summers, my skin gradually became combination-prone and sensitive, often developing blemishes. I've struggled with skin issues every year. I bought Aesop's In Two Minds line for combination skin without much expectation, and I've been using it for 5 months now without any skin troubles. With its non-sticky finish, I find the In Two Minds Hydrator more suitable for summer or warm weather compared to the Parsley Seed Hydrator. (Personally, I think the Parsley Seed line is more suited for winter.) While Aesop's official site describes it simply as 'gentle, smooth, and hydrating,' which doesn't do it justice, the actual feel and results are quite impressive. I think this would be an excellent choice for those with combination skin who avoid rich, heavy creams that claim to be moisturizing but just leave you greasy. As mentioned above, its key strengths are: non-sticky finish, no greasiness, maintaining just the right level of hydration (neither too much nor too little), and a light application that feels like you're wearing nothing at all. While Aesop may have a great reputation among those who avoid artificial fragrances, personally, I find this to have the strongest herbal scent among all Aesop products. Therefore, I expect opinions on the fragrance to be divided. It might be best to visit a store and test it before purchasing. The scent doesn't linger for long, so if you prioritize the quality of ingredients and effectiveness, you might want to overlook this potential drawback. If you're hesitant to buy in Korea due to the high price, there are 3 options (excluding duty-free shops). I think many people already know this, so I'll just summarize the key points. For more details, try googling yourself! 1. Mr. Porter: No promotions, but offers fast DHL free shipping and sturdy packaging. 2. Mankind: Slower shipping, but offers free delivery over a certain purchase amount and promotions for cheaper prices. (Don't expect kind and nice customer service though!) 3. Naver Joonggonara (Korean secondhand marketplace): It's a goldmine! While the variety of items might be limited, you can score great deals through direct communication with sellers.
