The scent is strong, which might not be for everyone, but I personally enjoyed it.
ConsThe thick texture in a pump bottle is a bit inconvenient. I bought this for my kids with dry skin and used several bottles thinking it worked well. However, come autumn, my child kept complaining about itchy skin, even waking up at night asking to be scratched. I noticed their entire back was covered in goosebumps. I didn't realize it was because of this emulsion and kept applying more thinking it was just dryness. When the symptoms didn't improve, I quickly bought Green Finger emulsion from the supermarket, and the problem cleared up as if it never happened. When I use it myself, it absorbs so completely that I wonder if I even applied anything. It's like it absorbs too well or doesn't provide enough hydration. Either way, it doesn't moisturize sufficiently.

Compared to the green, the yellow has a stronger scent and seems to provide more hydration. I've heard that others have mixed feelings about the strong fragrance, but my kids and I loved both the initial scent and the lingering aroma. The green one also has a wonderful scent, but it usually fades by morning after applying it at night. The yellow, however, stays fragrant until morning! And of course, its moisturizing power is exceptional.
ConsI really love this product, but unfortunately, my children had an allergic reaction to it. We've used several bottles of the green one without any issues, but a few days after using the yellow version, my younger child developed redness on their cheeks, inner thighs, and the inside of their upper arms - all areas with delicate skin. The affected area gradually expanded, so we had to stop using it. My older child seemed fine at first, so we continued using it, but after a few days, they reacted too. It's puzzling because we used the oil from the same line all last winter for moisturizing, and neither of them had any problems. We quickly switched back to the green version, and after a few days, their skin slowly started to recover. The fragrance, hydration, and absorption are all perfect - there's nothing to fault. It's such a shame we can't use it.

I just bought it because I heard the ingredients were good.
Cons1. Absolute worst product (My son, who's never had an allergic reaction before, started developing red patches on both cheeks about two weeks after using this) 2. The smell... (After applying this, I have to air out the room all day long if he sleeps there) Strongly discourage using this product

Before application, the texture might feel a bit thick, but I remember the emulsion itself having a slight richness that wasn't unpleasant. For those without allergies, this product could be a good choice in terms of ingredients and value for money.
ConsI was looking for a good-quality, cost-effective emulsion to gift my elementary school and kindergarten-aged nieces. I found the Shea Moisture Emulsion on the trusted Hwahae app and bought it. After using it for a few days, the kids developed redness and rash-like symptoms around their eyes, mouth, and various parts of their face, which then spread to their entire body. I feel so guilty every time I see my nieces' faces. We thought it might get better if we stopped using the emulsion, so we switched back to their previous product. However, even the old product, which had been fine before, started causing similar allergic reactions. They had been using the previous product without any issues, but it seems their skin became sensitized after using the Shea Moisture. Now they're seeing a doctor for treatment. I feel terrible every time I look at my nieces. While some people might use this product without issues, it clearly doesn't work for everyone. If you're trying it for the first time, please don't buy in bulk like I did. Even if you have to pay for shipping, just try one first. Also, personally, I find the scent quite strong for children, though not unpleasant, and the pump is quite stiff.

It's totally my style. The price is affordable, and the quantity lasts a long time! On busy mornings or when I'm feeling lazy, I just apply this right after washing my face without using anything else. Even then, I don't feel any dryness at all. In the evenings too... when I'm super lazy, I only use this. That's a plus, right?
ConsThe texture is a bit... different. I was surprised because the emulsion wasn't like the yogurt-like consistency I expected. For me, it came out a bit better than it did for the friend who recommended it, but by the time I finished the bottle, I had to struggle to get the emulsion out, even after tapping and trying everything. When I first applied it, for about a week, my face felt a bit tingly. There was also a slight warming sensation - not for long, just about 30 seconds? After a week, the tingling went away. I switched to a different emulsion in between (because of the initial drawback), but when I came back to this one, I'm experiencing the tingling and warming sensation again. Oh, and one of the drawbacks that's also a plus is the scent - I love it, but it's quite strong, so quite a few people might dislike it!
TipAs I was writing, I realized the cons became longer than the pros, but I've still been using this for over a year and even bought 3 more bottles! And although I mentioned applying it just once, on days when the wind is bitterly cold, I find it's even better to apply a tiny bit more on my cheeks after drying my hair. I love the scent and hydration of this emulsion so much that I bought the whole line (shampoo, oil, body wash...). For me, I'm sticking with just the emulsion...

ConsI wanted to buy just the shampoo, but it was out of stock, so I reluctantly purchased the set that included this emulsion. The moment it touched my skin, it felt like a thousand needles pricking me, accompanied by an intense burning sensation. I ended up in tears, having to shower again to rinse it off. The pain was excruciating. I was cursing while I had to take another shower to remove it. My skin was in absolute agony. Like a fool, I thought I'd give it another try the next day. Sure enough, the burning, stinging, and tingling sensations returned with a vengeance, and once again, I found myself in tears during my shower. I strongly urge everyone to avoid this product at all costs.
TipI later read on a blog that analyzes cosmetic ingredients that even the shampoo contains harmful components. Since then, I've stopped using that shampoo as well!

However...
ConsI bought it for the good ingredients, but it caused havoc on my youngest child's body and face... Just to be sure, I washed it off and tried again, but the same reaction occurred. I read in someone's review that it might be due to the chamomile. The fragrance is also too strong. I guess only my older kids can use it now.

His legs used to be rough and dry, but after applying this, it's much better. Like others mentioned, pumping can be a bit tough, but my child finds it fun to slam it on the floor!
ConsMy second child is 115 days old... After bath time in the evening, I ran out of our usual cream and used this instead. In the morning, I discovered his whole face was red and bumpy! I immediately washed his face and scraped together every bit of our old cream to apply. By evening, it had improved a little, thankfully.

I didn't know chamomile was part of the daisy family. My daughter told me about it. I wanted to use it because the ingredients are great, but unfortunately, I can't due to the allergic reaction.

After trying various high-quality skincare products, I was about to give up on good ingredients when I discovered this emulsion. Though it's called an emulsion, it's more like a cream - that's how rich the texture is. Having used only gentle emulsions before, I don't mind that it takes a bit longer to absorb. It feels great when applied directly to the skin. It's especially nice on the face, wrapping it in moisture that lasts for a long time. This might be particularly noticeable for us since both my kids and I tend to have dry skin.
ConsFor some reason, it sometimes stings and burns when applied around the nose and mouth. When the kids have a cold and I try to apply it, it's a disaster...
