It's my go-to daily shadow. It's convenient to carry and easy to apply, creating a beautiful two-tone look with just a few swipes. The shimmer is absolutely mesmerizing!
ConsUnfortunately, there's quite a bit of excess fallout. You can see the powder dropping when you swipe back and forth. Also, the shadows tend to clump together in the palette. While it applies fine on the eyes, you'll need to tap off the excess every time you use it.

ConsIs it because my eyes are small? There seemed to be too much glitter, making it look messy.
TipI use about half the amount of glitter it comes with. That way, it looks less cluttered.

I seem to be on the cusp of Spring Warm. ❤10-second eye makeup (not quite 3 seconds, but close!) Once you master the technique, you can truly achieve super quick makeup. Swipe the palette left to right once, tap off the excess, sweep it across your eyelids, and blend the edges with your finger or a blending brush - voila! This has been a lifesaver when I've overslept but still want to look put-together! ❤Daily color Shade #2 in the Eye Magazine seems perfect for everyday use. It's especially flattering on warm-toned skin. With careful application of the brown, even cool-toned folks can make it work. ❤Outer V Use the darker shade at the bottom of the palette to define the outer V of your eyes. If there's any shimmer left, apply it to your lower lashline for highlight and aegyo-sal! ❤Staying power I don't use a separate eye makeup fixer, just set it with powder, and the staying power isn't bad. The attached photo was taken about 6.5 hours after application for reference. While it doesn't stay completely put, it fades nicely, softening the edges and creating a lovely lived-in look.
Cons💧Built-in brush The included brush is quite stiff, which might irritate sensitive eyelids. A softer brush would allow for more precise application, but this palette is designed for quick makeup rather than intricate looks, so expecting a high-quality brush might be asking too much. 💧Fallout Like all powder eyeshadows, the Eye Magazine has significant fallout. The stiff brush seems to kick up even more powder. I always tap the brush on the back of my hand before applying to minimize this issue. 💧Price While we're paying for convenience and innovation, spending over 7,000 won (regular price 13,000 won) for this single item feels a bit steep. For the same price, you could get a 6 or 9-pan palette from Etude House. In my opinion, a price point of 5,000-6,000 won would have been more reasonable.
TipAlways tap off the excess powder before applying. Start from the middle of the lid rather than the inner corner to avoid over-application. I prefer applying in this order: middle, outer corner, then back to the middle and towards the inner corner. This makes blending much easier. You can find it cheaper with free shipping on Coupang.
