While the ginseng scent is a bit disappointing, I use it thinking that it's a sign of quality ingredients.

It absorbs well and applies smoothly. I have combination dehydrated skin that's super sensitive, but this product seems gentle. It's never irritated my skin. Even when my nose area was raw from allergies, the Donginbi Yun line didn't sting when I applied it after washing my face.

This soothing essence seems great for summer use. It's lighter than a cream but has more substance than a serum, so it's perfect for providing nourishment after using an ampoule and preventing stickiness.

This essence is in a liquid form, just like the name 'Yuyak' suggests. It's thick and moisturizing, just like the pre-serum I love.

As expected, the price... Dongdaemun products are all good, but the price range is definitely on the higher side.

I received a sample and tried it out, and I was satisfied! The oil content was at an appropriate level, and it felt very moisturizing when applied. I have sensitive skin, and it wasn't irritating at all.

After pumping it a few times, adding a bit of oil and massaging it all over the face, neck, and decollete with the whole palm feels just like a oriental medicine therapy session..! (Actually, I'm still envious and want to try a Donginbi spa treatment💆🏻)

The emulsion felt a bit ambiguous, so I didn't open it until about a month ago when I first tried it. After getting into derma cosmetics, I was a bit hesitant about products with rich nourishment, but I remembered the red ginseng sheet mask worked well for me, so I was positive about the red ginseng ingredient. The moisture feels dewy and applies lightly, and the oil content is also abundant, so it works well as a cream substitute for combination skin types like mine that layer a lot before the cream step. It has a subtle sheen without feeling sticky! I prefer unscented products, but the faint red ginseng/oriental medicine scent isn't bad.

✔️ By using other products to sufficiently create a moisture barrier, your skin can remain moisturized until the next morning after application. Be sure to mix and use this with other products.

✔️Moisture - However, using only this product line cannot properly balance the moisture and oil levels... The lack of moisture causes the oil to just burst out.
✔️Sebum - Similar to the above, using only the toner and emulsion for your basic skincare routine makes the oil absorption slower and gives a greasy feeling.
✔️Packaging - The bottle is really pretty, but when I dropped it once, the durability was poor and the top part got damaged.
✔️Fragrance - The red ginseng scent is the Donginbi trademark, but was it really necessary to add fragrance?
✔️Price - I'm not sure if there's a compelling reason to choose this product given the price-to-value ratio.

✔️Sebum - The sebum remains moisturized until the next morning, with more of a 'inner glow' feeling rather than a greasy look.
✔️Blemishes - The product itself is relatively mild, and even though I have sensitive skin, I didn't experience any skin troubles.
