This mask pack seems great for winter use. Given its multiple functional benefits, it's not just moisturizing but also has a firming effect. The rich texture means that when used in the evening, my skin feels smooth and soft even the next morning! Comparing it to Mediheal mask packs, which can be quite sticky when removed, this product has a rich formula but surprisingly fresh finish, which I really appreciate. To sum up: rich formula, hydration that lasts until the next day, and a finish that's less sticky than expected. The most disappointing aspect was the mask material... it felt too rough and even strangely irritating. Perhaps I've gotten used to the pudding-like soft textures of masks I've been using recently. While the ampoule quality wasn't bad, there wasn't enough of it. The mask sheet was thin and didn't hold much of the essence, so it felt like it was drying out after about 15 minutes, which was disappointing. For an extra soothing effect, try applying some refrigerated aloe soothing gel before putting on the mask pack! Keeping the mask pack itself in the fridge before use can also make for a refreshingly cool experience. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJun 4, 2020
This mask pack claims to have anti-wrinkle properties. I bought one since it was incredibly cheap at 3,740 won from px. While it didn't cause any tingling or itching, it felt a bit drying on my skin. The sheet is generously soaked in a viscous green ampoule. Pro tip: pop it in the fridge before use for an amazingly refreshing feel! The sheet itself is quite ordinary, with a cotton-like texture and good adherence. Its cooling effect aids in soothing the skin, and the finish is light, making it a great choice for summer masking! I noticed it starts to dry out after about 10 minutes. The ampoule absorbs well, leaving a fresh finish. However, as someone with dry skin that tends to heat up easily, I prefer masks that provide long-lasting hydration. Unfortunately, this one didn't quite meet my needs. I'd recommend this to those who dislike overly moist or heavy-feeling mask packs. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJan 14, 2020
Even though it's been a while since I used it, I'll share the two best things about it: 1. It's both firm and hydrating. Compared to other masks, it has a generous amount of ampoule that stays moist for a long time. I could even use the leftover on my body. Using it straight from the fridge feels incredibly refreshing, firm, and hydrating. 2. Soothing effect. My skin is very sensitive, but this mask helped calm down redness and blemishes. If I had to mention two downsides: 1. While the scent is pleasant, it might be considered too strong for some. It's intense and concentrated, though not unpleasant or harsh. 2. The firmness might feel a bit sticky. While it's refreshing when used straight from the fridge, I didn't enjoy using it at room temperature. Make sure to use it chilled! The remaining ampoule can be applied to your body or hair too. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinApr 25, 2019
The amount of serum in this mask is truly generous - it stays moist even after 20 minutes of wear. It's great for soothing and improving wrinkles, but what's more, your complexion looks brighter the next day. The hydration is excellent, and best of all, it works well under makeup and leaves your skin feeling firm and plump. As someone sensitive to scents, I found the fresh cucumber, aloe, and herbal fragrance quite pleasant. The price and ingredients are the main drawbacks. Unless you're buying it in the military, it's quite expensive at around $9 per mask. Also, the added fragrance may be polarizing, and it's disappointing to see PEG and dimethicone in the ingredient list. If you know someone in the military, ask them to purchase it for you! - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinSensitive SkinApr 24, 2019
I received this as a gift and tried it out. While some people find the scent overwhelming, I found it refreshing. There's plenty of essence in the mask - even after covering my entire face, there's still some left over. The sheet isn't rough, so it doesn't irritate the skin. After using the mask, I can really notice my complexion brightening up. It's cheaper at the PX, but the regular price is a bit high. I always have to ask my military friends to get it for me. Also, because there's so much essence, it takes quite a while for my skin to absorb it all. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMar 20, 2019
I love that this serum has a thick, non-runny consistency, so it doesn't drip everywhere. As someone with combination dehydrated skin, I found it incredibly hydrating, and my makeup applied beautifully the next day. The fresh, subtle scent is pleasant and not overwhelming. The price is quite steep. If it were closer to the PX (duty-free) price, it would be more reasonable, but paying full retail is a bit hard to swallow. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinSensitive SkinFeb 20, 2019
I've been alternating between this and the brown (brightening) mask, and I found this one to be slightly better! The scent is fresh and cooling, and it's not irritating at all. Like the other one, the sheet adheres well to the skin, and I love that it's generously soaked in essence! It's a shame that the price is a bit high, so I can't use it as often as I'd like. As for the anti-wrinkle effects, I think I'll need to use it long-term to really tell! There's a temperature indicator on the back when you store it in the fridge. It's best to use the mask when the indicator turns green! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinOct 29, 2018
It's worth the high price tag... First off, I love that it leaves a hydrated (fresh) feeling rather than an oily one that lasts until the next day! When kept in the fridge or used on sensitive skin before bed after traveling, it has a calming effect and makes your skin feel plump and bouncy. The ingredients are also good. The fragrance... it's a bit too strong? It slightly smells like an air freshener.. It's like a very natural, earthy perfume. When it gets in your eyes, prepare for a tear party! After cleansing, use toner and then this - you won't need any other skincare basics... It's great! - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinJul 3, 2018
I have oily skin! My cousin gave this to me as a gift, saying it's an expensive mask. I thought 'It's probably just like any other mask' but when I tried it, I loved the scent from the start. How should I describe it? It had a cool, refreshing fragrance. Even after just one use, it had an immediate soothing effect on my redness-prone skin. The next day, my makeup went on smoothly too! I'm not sure if it's because I have super oily skin, but after using it and letting it absorb, it felt a bit sticky... However, when I washed my face in the morning to remove what was left, my makeup applied really well! According to the Hwahae app's ingredient analysis by skin type, it contains mostly ingredients that are good for dry skin! As someone with oily skin who tried it, it's a tad sticky. Individual results may vary. On the back of this mask package, it says 'It's even better if you store it in the refrigerator and use it when the thermometer shape turns green.' I'm not sure if it turned green, but using it cold had an immediate soothing effect on my redness. Those with super sensitive skin might find it irritating if it's too cold though.
