  Pros

  It did have some effect on blemishes. While it doesn't completely eliminate them, it seemed to reduce their occurrence. However, it made my skin very dry. Still, it appears to be effective in controlling blemishes and excess oil, so I use it as a toner only during the height of summer. It's too harsh for fall and winter use.

  Cons

  The scent... it has an alcohol smell, which I'm not a fan of. After use, my skin tends to become quite dry.

  Pros

  On the first day of use, I lightly applied the exfoliating toner only to areas of concern before bed, and the next morning, I noticed a significant reduction in small bumps. It also seems to have a cooling effect? It nicely reduces facial heat. Great for combination dehydrated skin, this product really fills in that deep dryness with a super thin layer.

  Cons

  However, the critical drawback is the scent... It's a bit... At first, I thought it smelled like an old-fashioned toner, but as I kept sniffing, I realized it's pure alcohol scent. I wouldn't really recommend this to those who are extremely sensitive to fragrances. As someone who's somewhat sensitive to scents, I found it a bit uncomfortable.

  Tip

  Apply the exfoliating toner lightly to problem areas. Personally, my problem areas are where I have excess sebum production and frequent blemishes, so I focused on those spots!

  Pros

  I saw amazing results for cystic acne! It's great at oil control, making it a holy grail for acne improvement. There's a slight alcohol scent, but I didn't feel any significant irritation on my skin.

  Cons

  As someone with acne-prone skin, I'm a bit concerned about the three potentially problematic ingredients. It does have an alcohol scent and leaves a slightly dry finish, but it's fine if you apply a hydrating moisturizer with it.

  Pros

  I bought this product to reduce summer oiliness. It has a watery texture and feels refreshing when applied with a cotton pad. It's cool even at room temperature. I purchased it as a 1+1 deal, and after using about one bottle, I've noticed a reduction in oiliness around my nose.

  Cons

  The scent is too alcohol-heavy, and it stings a bit if applied near the eyes. I think it might be too drying for winter, so I plan to use it only in summer. Looking at the ingredients on Hwahae, there are quite a few harsh components. I wouldn't recommend this for those prone to blemishes.

  I'm not quite sure about the good points... I'm using it because a friend recommended it as being gentle on the skin.

  The alcohol smell is way too strong... But seeing other reviews, many people wrote that the scent is nice. I'm wondering if mine might be defective...

  I was thrilled to snag this at a 50% discount from Olive Young...

  Cons

  The alcohol scent is overwhelmingly strong! It smells just like nail polish remover! The more I use this toner, the tighter my skin feels, and I get this sensation of deep dryness from within...

  Tip

  While it might work for those with extremely oily skin, I strongly advise against it for combination dehydrated skin types. It's a definite no-go.
