  Pros

  It's incredibly gentle and has excellent hydration. I have dry skin, and when mixed with oil, it's absolutely amazing. The scent is pure nature itself!

  Cons

  The price is a bit steep, which is unfortunate. Also, it seems harder to find in stock these days, so it might be a good idea to inquire at department stores in advance when you're running low.

  Pros

  The spray format makes it super convenient to apply right after washing. Even with my extremely sensitive skin, I've used multiple bottles without ever experiencing irritation or tingling. The natural herbal scent is refreshing and helps relieve fatigue.

  Cons

  I usually apply toner 3 times, but this one doesn't layer well and feels like it sits on the surface. It's not particularly moisturizing, more on the refreshing side. When spraying, it forms little bubbles on the face that need to be patted in. No major drawbacks, except it's quite pricey.

  Tip

  For the first application, spray it on a cotton pad and use as an exfoliating toner. For the second round, spray directly and gently pat it in for best results.

  First off, it's incredibly gentle! I usually get blemishes right away if a product doesn't suit my skin or has poor ingredients, but I didn't experience any issues with this toner. The signature Aveda fragrance is also delightful.

  I use this as the first step after showering. It's one of several mists I rotate through, but I reach for this one often because it's so gentle. The bottle is larger than my Jurlique or Caudalie mists. It absorbs well and preps my skin nicely before applying essence or emulsion.

  Cons

  The spray comes out in a stream rather than a fine mist. If you spritz it all over your face, you'll need to pat it in to absorb the excess.

  Tip

  For a refreshing boost, try storing it in the refrigerator and applying it cool.
