1. Cost-effective soothing moisturizer for oily skin 2. Hydration + firming effect + thin coating for plump inside, matte outside This was my go-to moisturizer during my teenage years when sebum production was at its peak. While other skincare products claiming to be good for oily, blemish-prone skin often made my skin worse, this one prevented further deterioration and provided a slight cooling effect that felt soothing. It was truly a bang for your buck throughout my teens. When applying BB cream, using oil-free products for oily skin beforehand would make my face too greasy, while using products for combination skin would make the BB cream melt off quickly. However, the Dermahouse moisturizer provided just the right amount of hydration inside while lightly coating the skin's surface. This made my BB cream application smooth like I'd used a primer, keeping my skin looking flawless without excess oil. The staying power was excellent, though it did require some technique to control the amount used. Compared to other creams with similar textures, it offered great value for money. As I entered my late 20s and my sebum production decreased, this product alone no longer provided the same primer-like moisturizing effect I enjoyed in my teens. I now need a product with higher hydration levels. It contains quite a few ingredients to be cautious about, which makes me hesitant to use it long-term. However, I think that if the restricted ingredients are used within safe limits, it can still be a good product to use occasionally when needed, alongside other regular products. Still, it would be better without high-risk ingredients, right? I plan to use it again during the peak humidity of the rainy season. 1. For oily skin, if you do light base makeup and finish with this cream, it feels like it lightly coats the skin, making your makeup adhere very well. 2. Mix this cream 1:1 with a high-coverage foundation or BB cream, apply it like an emulsion using your hands, and gently press with your palms' warmth. This creates a translucent, smooth, porcelain-like skin finish. People think it's my natural skin! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedApr 3, 2022
I love how moisturizing it is! It feels like I'm doing a mask treatment, and it leaves my skin incredibly hydrated. The volume is smaller than I expected. I find myself trying to use it sparingly, which leads to not using it as often as I'd like. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinJan 3, 2022
It feels refreshingly cool and not too thick, which I really like! I can't really tell if I've applied it or not, and I'm not sure if it's actually doing anything. - we********Combination SkinSensitive SkinOct 25, 2021
It's great for casual use due to its affordable price. When applied, it feels pleasantly moisturizing. I noticed it contains five potentially harmful ingredients. It feels a bit lacking when used on its own. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinJun 20, 2017
There's not much to praise... Maybe the small container size? It seemed fine at first, but later on I started getting blemishes and my face became itchy - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAcne SkinJan 14, 2017
I've been consistently using this product since discovering it, and it feels refreshingly cool after application. The affordable price allows me to use it generously without hesitation. I'm not sure if this happens with other moisturizers, but ever since I developed something around my lip line, applying this moisturizer causes a stinging sensation. - qh********Combination SkinSensitive SkinOct 10, 2016
Perfect for light summer use! The aloe vera leaf is great for sensitive skin, so it's suitable for those with super sensitive skin too. I'd recommend this for people with oily skin. Being a pharmacy brand, it's quite affordable! It's high in hydration but low in rich moisture, so using this alone in winter might lead to deep dryness. When applying makeup, mixing a bit of this in can give you a more hydrated look. Just be careful not to mix too much, or it might make it seem like you're not wearing any makeup at all. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinJun 6, 2016
It's just okay. I use it because it's cheap. Haha! The scent is decent though. I wish it had more hydration... It feels a bit dry and the dryness sets in quickly. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinJun 1, 2016
The only good thing about this product seems to be its low price. It's a struggle to find 20 characters worth of positives! After applying this, my face kept itching, which led me to discover the Hwahae app while searching for answers. I can't speak for others, but I absolutely do not recommend this. Don't use it even if it's cheap - it's not worth it. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinMay 8, 2016
Feels refreshingly hydrating at first. However, that seems to be its only benefit as the skin becomes dry again after a while. The color makes it seem like artificial dyes were used, which is a bit concerning... The product volume is also incredibly small, unfortunately.
