First of all, I have sensitive skin with oily and acne-prone characteristics, and it usually takes me some time to find products that work well. As winter is approaching, I was looking for a moisturizing cream when I won the Hwahae Trial Reviewer event. Unlike other creams, I liked that this one comes in a tube format, which is more hygienic. I also really dislike a sticky finish, but this cream left my skin feeling refreshed after application. If you have oily skin and are looking for a refreshing moisturizing cream, I would recommend this one.^_^
ConsTo be honest, I think the drawbacks outweighed the benefits for me. 1. Since I have sensitive skin, I was barely managing with my current cream, but after using this one, I experienced a sudden breakout. The texture really worsened my skin condition. 2. In winter, I believe the product should be able to deeply hydrate the skin from within, but this one felt like it just sat on the surface. My skin felt dry and dull the next morning. 3. When layering this cream over other products, it would pill up and come off in flakes. Of course, this could be partly my own issue, but I didn't have the same problem when using my regular creams like the Tac Cream or Holika Holika. If you have sensitive skin, I would recommend considering this product carefully for about three times before purchasing.
TipFor those with sensitive, acne-prone skin, I would suggest considering this product carefully for about three times before purchasing.

I'm really sorry that I'm writing it late because I forgot... 😢 First, when I first received it, the cream was just in the most wonderful state! 😍 So I washed my face and used it right away. 👀 First Use Review I have pretty resilient 'steel' skin with not many skin troubles!! But I have a lot of fine hair and dryness, so my makeup keeps caking and I have to keep layering on cushion... 😅 But as soon as I applied this cream, it felt like a bit of an ointment?? Like the kind the dermatologist gives you, where my whole face felt a bit coated?? There was also a slight cooling sensation. At first, my skin felt so soft and smooth, and even after a while, it stayed that way until the cream got absorbed, then it became even smoother! So I ended up applying more. 👀 One Week Usage Review I'm lazy with my skincare routine... 😅 So my skin often gets dry and my makeup cakes up. 💦 But after using this cream twice a day, morning and night, my complexion became brighter, and my dryness decreased a bit!! There was a day when I broke out, but after using the cream, the redness and blemishes reduced the next day. 😊 So I'm convinced this cream is really effective!
ConsHmm.. one downside is that if I use a bit too much, it can be a bit difficult to absorb. 😥 As I mentioned before, the cream has a bit of an ointment-like texture, so you have to use the right amount. If I apply a little more, it can feel a bit like it's just sitting on top. 🤔🤔
TipWhen I applied a bit more generously on my blemished areas, I noticed they looked better the next day!! And you really shouldn't use too much of this, it's such a shame... 😢😢 If you find it a bit drying when using just a little, I'd recommend layering it on in small amounts instead. 🤗

Cons¶ Applies super smoothly but when rolling it out, it leaves a white cast like applying ointment before absorbing. ¶ For dry skin, it's matte and slightly drying. Needs to be used with an essence with oil or moisture to feel fresh on bare skin. That's why it lacks moisture and hydration, and tends to cling a bit when used alone in cold weather (not as intensely drying as a soothing gel though. Surprisingly not overly drying for a matte product) ¶ Feels a bit like applying medicated ointment when putting it on. If you've done a slightly irritating peeling recently, this sensation can be more pronounced. Might be due to the cetearyl alcohol, which is supposedly a 'good' alcohol that improves application and provides moisture, but I'm not sure why it feels that way. ¶ The fragrance is similar to medicated ointment or menthol lip balm, so not recommended for those sensitive to scents (strong initially but dissipates quickly). ¶ Overall, this product just didn't work well for me. ㅠ Being almost dehydrated in the winter... ㅠ There weren't any major improvements or benefits, but it wasn't overly drying or problematic either, so it could be a decent, unremarkable product to use.
Tip¶ In my case, when using it alone it's too drying, so I layer it with a toner or thin essence a few times, or mix in a few drops of face oil when I'm feeling lazy. That works much better! It seems better suited for oily skin than dry, and summer rather than winter!

Thank you for the opportunity to try this great product! 👇 The packaging was nicely delivered. As soon as I saw it, I thought of the L'Occitane hand cream. It applies like a cream but feels like a lotion. After cleansing, I tried using just the cream alone with a cotton pad. Even though I have extremely dry skin, this alone was enough to provide sufficient moisture. I'd recommend this to those who, like me, can't apply multiple skincare products. (I've also been using the La Roche-Posay cream alone before) The scent felt a bit strong when I first used it, but it became more subtle, almost unscented, as I continued using it. My skin is not originally sensitive, so I wasn't worried about breakouts, and the good ingredients make this suitable for most people to use. I took before and after photos to compare, but a magical incident caused a breakout in the middle, so I couldn't properly see the effects. ㅜ
ConsDespite the lotion-like application, if you use even a little too much, it can feel like it's sitting on top of the skin. I used it morning and night, but sometimes it didn't absorb well when I was putting on makeup in the morning. While it seems to have a calming effect, it doesn't seem to quickly resolve existing blemishes, though it doesn't cause new ones either.
