I'm on my second bottle now, that's how much I love it! Even when my skin is blemish-prone or super sensitive, it doesn't cause any tingling sensation. It feels like I'm applying pure aloe vera. It's so hydrating, and since switching to aloe-based products, my complexion has really improved. I didn't experience any issues while using it. The only thing is that the packaging is quite sturdy, so when you're running low, you'll need to squeeze it to get the last bits out... - kk********Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedDec 27, 2022
It's great for a light application! Since it calms the skin and provides hydration, it's perfect for skin that feels hot. I'm using it frequently! Those with extremely dry skin might find it a bit drying, so you may need to use a separate moisturizer. I kept it in the refrigerator and applied a thick layer to areas that needed soothing. It calmed my skin quickly and worked wonderfully! - ab*****Combination SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedNov 10, 2020
I liked that it didn't cause any additional blemishes and wasn't greasy at all. In summer, it feels a bit sticky, which makes me think it might be causing breakouts. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinAug 1, 2020
It's great for soothing the skin thanks to the aloe, and it's budget-friendly too. It's not as good as other toners. It feels like it just sits on top of the skin without absorbing well. Maybe try using it on your body? - hj****Oily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMar 25, 2020
As someone with very oily skin, I find this product incredibly moisturizing and wonderful! It's perfect for use during spring and summer. It has a cucumber scent, so those who dislike cucumbers might not enjoy it! - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedJan 31, 2020
To be honest, before high school, the only emulsion I'd ever used was baby lotion... One day, I got this emulsion my sister was using, and it was perfect for my usually dry facial skin. That's why I've been using it for years now. I'm already on my third bottle. Frankly, I don't know much about cosmetic ingredients or effects, but when I was in the military, slathering this on my face after showering every night felt incredible. People around me keep recommending snail cream, but I'm sticking to this product exclusively. I'm not sure what the typical price range for cosmetics is, but for me, this feels a bit on the pricey side. - Hwahae UserDry SkinRecommendedJan 17, 2020
I switched to this for my skincare routine because I kept getting acne. It's gentle despite being affordable, which is great. I like it. It would be better if it came in a squeeze bottle. Other than that, I don't have any complaints. - dn******Oily SkinRecommendedNov 18, 2019
Holika Holika products generally don't seem to cause blemishes, even if they contain some less-than-ideal ingredients! (And their prices are reasonable too.) You can really feel the cooling effect, and it provides just the right amount of hydration for oily skin. I could apply it generously without any breakouts. This product truly delivers on the emulsion's purpose! As it's a lightweight emulsion, those with dry skin might find it a bit lacking in moisture. Other than that, I didn't notice any drawbacks. On days when the air is dry or your skin isn't at its best, try mixing in a drop or two of a light ampoule or oil (I use Sidmool Catechin Ampoule) with this product! - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 17, 2019
It seems to be quite mild and have little greasiness, so it's likely good for oily skin. .................... - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAug 19, 2018
This toner and mist moisture cream are really great. I have a dry skin type that gets stressed and breaks out sometimes, so I'm not sure about things like soothing troubled skin. For my dry skin, it feels dry when I apply it, and it doesn't absorb well, leaving a surface-level feeling. I think it's better to skip this and just apply the moisture cream directly. The mist and moisture cream in this line are really great items to use in the summer!!
