Although it's a multi-purpose balm, I mainly use it on my lips. The ingredients are high-quality, so I can use it with peace of mind.

Since it goes in your mouth, make sure to buy one with good ingredients. If you slather it on generously before bed and gently exfoliate the softened skin when washing, your lip makeup will apply beautifully. Lip balm nomads, give this a try! My sister and her husband are raving about it too, so I bought them a bunch. It's even safe for babies - an absolute must-have!

Fragrance-free? It's matte... and has gentle ingredients. My lips are always on the dry side and tend to crack.

Rather than calming dead skin cells, it seems to promote them. It might be better used as an exfoliator to remove dead skin cells.

While the ingredients are good, it doesn't absorb into the lips at all. No matter how many times you apply it, it just sits on top, feeling slick. It doesn't absorb into the skin either. Since it doesn't penetrate, it's pointless. I can't really tell if it's moisturizing, and despite the supposedly gentle ingredients, it causes dead skin cells to appear.

The ingredients are great! According to Hwahae standards, there are no harmful or irritating components. Plus, the quantity seems generous!

Compared to other lip balms, it definitely doesn't absorb well and just sits on the surface. It causes dead skin cells to build up and feels greasy. The thin consistency melts easily and tends to get into your mouth. Not recommended.

First off, the ingredients are decent, and when applied moderately, it gives a nice glow.
