It gives a natural-looking finish that enhances your complexion.
ConsAs someone with combination dehydrated skin, I find it a bit drying in winter, so I apply oil first. Those with dry skin might find it too dehydrating on its own.
TipIn summer, the formula works fine on its own. However, for winter, I recommend mixing it with facial oil for better hydration and a more comfortable feel!

It matched my skin tone well, so I found it pleasant to use. The ingredients seemed to agree with my skin as I didn't experience any blemishes after application. It's a product that's great for a light application. I appreciated how it faded gracefully throughout the day.
ConsIt applies very lightly, which means the coverage is quite sheer. While it may vary from person to person, I found it a bit drying on my skin. Make sure to apply a good moisturizer underneath for best results!

Finish: It spreads easily due to its fluid texture, and once it dries slightly and the alcohol evaporates, it adheres perfectly to the skin. It's a powdery foundation, but it's too thin to be called matte. The finish is velvety, making it great for summer use. Considering it's a foundation, the ingredients are impressive too. Who knew Benefit foundation would have such good ingredients! The biggest advantage is the wide range of shade options, especially in the darker spectrum. There are shades from 1 to 10. Usually, foundations have more variety in lighter shades, but Benefit offers diverse options for darker skin tones, making it great for those with deeper complexions and men too. I've always found it disappointing when foundations only cater to lighter skin tones, so I was pleased that Happy Foundation allowed me to choose a color that perfectly matches my complexion.
ConsThe coverage is average. It might not be satisfactory for those needing high coverage. However, it's said that layering can increase coverage. Also, it might be too drying for those with dry skin, except during summer. The drying effect seems more pronounced as the denatured alcohol evaporates. I recommend having a solid skincare routine as a base.
TipShade 3 is suitable for those with a 23 skin tone who want a natural look. If you're a 23 but prefer a lighter look, go for shade 2. As for application tools, it works best with a damp sponge. Due to its fluid consistency, it adheres better with a sponge than with a brush.

Plus, it comes in multiple shades, so it's great if you choose carefully! I have a slightly darker complexion and this was perfect for me. It's fun that they let you test with stickers in-store. After using it for a few days, it feels like I'm barely wearing anything - amazing! And it truly breaks down beautifully on the skin.
ConsAs someone with extremely dry skin, I find it a bit drying. I suppose that fresh feeling is typical for this type of product... So it might be challenging for those with very dry skin. I'll keep using it since the color matches me so well.
