I love citrus scents, and this one has a clean, refreshing aroma that doesn't feel artificial, which makes me feel good when cleansing my face! ๐๐ป2. The cleansing power is also good! In addition to removing makeup, it seems suitable for daily or double-cleansing use after oil cleansing. ๐๐ป3. The lather is abundant! This seems to be related to the cleansing power as well, and I can create sufficient lather with just 0.5 pumps. ๐๐ป4. Finally, I commend the pump-style packaging! Most cleansers come in tube form, and I've always felt that they can get moldy on the cap, especially in the summer, and become unsanitary over time. But with the pump, the process of opening, squeezing, and closing is reduced to just one press, which is great!
Cons๐๐ป1. There is a tightening sensation ใ After cleansing, I always feel a tightening sensation. I used to use Perfume Whip as a gift, and in comparison, the tightening sensation is much more noticeable.
Tip๐1. Immediately provide moisture after cleansing! Since there is a tightening sensation, I make sure to provide moisture as quickly as possible after cleansing. That seems to help. ๐2. Pump 0.5 times! If I press the pump all the way down, the amount of lather is too much, and it becomes burdensome to rinse it off with water. So I only press it halfway to get the right amount of gel to create the lather for cleansing.

I still had some of my previous foam cleanser left, so I gave it to a friend and asked them detailed questions about their experience. My friend's skin type seems to be combination, but more on the oily side (they've never had oily T-zone). And they have quite a few inflammatory acne. - Scent: A refreshing lemon-like scent. My friend is sensitive to smells, but they didn't find this one unpleasant, and even liked the fragrance. - Cleansing power: Since my friend doesn't wear makeup, I couldn't assess the cleansing power in detail. But they mentioned that the lather was better than expected. - Breakouts: There were no breakouts during the week of use. - After-use feel: My friend used to prefer a squeaky-clean feeling from using a more alkaline cleanser, but they found this product's usage experience quite pleasant as well. It's mildly acidic, so it's not completely squeaky-clean, but leaves a slightly smooth, comfortable feel after washing, which my friend liked. ๐
ConsWhile there were no breakouts, the product didn't seem to have any particularly noticeable effects either. It was just average without any significant benefits.

Normally, even products that claim to use only natural surfactants and have a gentle feel often contain 'betaine'-based surfactants. But this product doesn't have any of those tricks. > It has a very mild citrus scent. It's not overbearing like an artificial fragrance. Personally, I find the refreshing feel quite pleasant. > I've been using the Innisfree Blueberry Cleanser, which is non-irritating and gentle, making it good for morning cleansing. But to remove sunscreen in the evening, I've been using the Sulwhasoo Cleansing Foam separately. However, the The SAEM Derma Cleanser is gentle enough to use in the morning and also effectively removes sunscreen in the evening. The fact that I can use this one product for both is why I want to give it a high rating. I will repurchase this, especially for the summer when I only wear sunscreen without makeup.
Cons> The product page said it would be moisturizing and hydrating after cleansing, but like many mildly acidic cleansers, it's not creamy or velvety, but rather drying. I have to apply an essence immediately after cleansing. > In my opinion, achieving both good cleansing power and moisturizing is somewhat difficult, so it might be better to emphasize the good ingredients and the benefits for sensitive skin. > The 'Gel to Foam' in the name could be removed. There are many products that have a runny, nose-drop-like texture that foams up when massaged, but are simply called cleansers or cleansing foams.
TipI would highly recommend this to people like me who don't wear makeup in the summer and only use sunscreen.

The citrusy scent is not artificial, so there is no initial aversion. (Respecting personal preferences) 2) Formulation: The gel-type formula creates a fine, non-sticky foam that allows for a thorough cleansing. I used an egg to cleanse, and while it's lightweight, the gel-type cleanser produced a fairly generous amount of foam compared to other gel cleansers. It rinses off thoroughly and cleanly. 3) It's very drying, but this product doesn't leave my face feeling tight after cleansing. However, to remove the slick feeling, I need to rinse with water for a bit longer. Still, I prefer this over the overly squeaky-clean and taut sensation. 4) The pump packaging is neat and convenient. A single pump dispenses a good amount, so I expect this product to last a while.
ConsThere weren't many downsides. I have sensitive skin, but I used this without any trouble and generally felt it was a gentle product.
TipWhen using an egg to cleanse, the foam was much more abundant compared to manual cleansing. I recommend trying a cleansing tool.

Cleansing products with a pump are so much easier to use. -The scent is not overpowering and has little lingering fragrance. -One pump is enough for a full face cleanse. -Preferences may vary, but after cleansing, my skin felt smooth and moisturized, so I would recommend this for dry skin types. It could also work well as a winter product. (Personally, I prefer the feeling of my skin being slightly taut after cleansing, as it gives me a clean, refreshed sensation.) -No breakouts or allergic reactions occurred (I had previously used a foam cleanser from another brand that left behind residue, causing breakouts, and even after thorough cleansing, I would still get blemishes, until I started using this product).
Cons-The lather is not very rich (it has a similar feel to soap bubbles). -This could be considered both a pro and a con, as mentioned in the positive points - the smooth, moisturized feeling after cleansing may mean it's not the best choice for summer use. -The pump is quite strong, so you need to be careful not to squeeze too hard and have the product squirt out. -The opaque packaging is convenient, but it makes it difficult to check the remaining product. You have to shake the bottle to estimate how much is left.

I don't have many blemishes, just a few that come up around that time of the month like most women. โฅ Fragrance Since there are no trendy ingredients, the fragrance is a subtle, almost orange-like scent. It's not completely orange, but very faint. So I think it will have a neutral appeal. โฅ Texture As described, the texture is a gel that becomes bubbly and foamy when water is added. The more water, the more foam. It's a very light, airy foam that I really liked. โฅ Cleansing Power I usually do a double cleanse (water and then foam). To test the cleansing power, I skipped the water and went straight to the foam. It did a pretty good job overall, but waterproof mascara was still left behind. So I used a cotton pad with an eye and lip makeup remover to get that last bit. โฅ Feel Even though I'm oily, I'm also dry, so the foams I normally use can leave my skin feeling a bit tight after cleansing. But with this one, there was no tightness at all. I didn't even need to wipe away excess water at the vanity - my skin felt so smooth and supple right after cleansing. It seems to be a great match for my skin type!
Consโฅ Even though I didn't expect it to remove waterproof makeup completely, some residue was left behind, so a first cleanse with a makeup remover would be necessary. โฅ I was curious about the claim of no tightness, so I removed all the water and waited to see how long it would stay that way. After about 5 minutes, I did start to feel a slight tightness (but I would probably apply my skincare right away anyway). The only downsides I can think of are these two points.
TipUsing an eye and lip makeup remover first, then following up with the gel-to-foam cleanser would be a great routine. (It removed more than I expected, which was good!)

With a small amount, the lather is abundant, making the cleansing gentle and fragrance-free, which I liked. (I really hate artificial fruit scents..ใ ใ ) Personally, I don't wear makeup often, so I used it daily, and it didn't cause any major breakouts! I was very worried because I'm the type who gets breakouts right away if something doesn't suit my sensitive skin.. I recommend this to those who don't wear makeup often, have sensitive skin, and want a daily cleansing foam.
ConsIt seems a bit difficult to expect deep cleansing. And since there are so many affordable cleansing products, the price-to-volume ratio is a bit disappointing.
TipI use this product for cleansing after massaging, using a cleansing cream, and the galvanic method when dead skin cells come up. Cleansing with this product in the morning is more refreshing than just washing with water.^^

As someone with sensitive skin, I couldn't use just anything, but the ingredients in this product were so good. It has a watery gel-like texture, but when you spread it, it lathers up nicely and evenly. For a product with such good ingredients, the lather is impressive. Even though there are no artificial fragrances, it has a light, refreshing scent that's not overpowering. After washing it off, my face felt smooth and soft, and my skin looked brighter as some redness was calmed down.
ConsThere's one yellow-colored ingredient that, if removed, would make the product even better.
TipAlthough it's mildly acidic, it feels like it cleanses better than the other sensitive skin products I've used. I think it would be great to use when adding a little more makeup.

But for me, who has been using mild acidic cleansers, I felt the lather was better than other mild brands! ๐Cleansing Power: I'd recommend using this as part of a double cleansing routine rather than as a standalone cleanser. The cleansing power is not extremely weak, but using it alone might leave a slightly unsatisfied feeling. ๐After Cleansing: There is a slightly slippery feeling typical of mild acidic cleansers, which I personally prefer. But those used to alkaline cleansers might feel like their skin isn't thoroughly cleansed. I didn't experience any dryness after using this. After using it for 2 weeks, this product was really great for my super sensitive skin! I felt it was gentler and less irritating compared to other mild acidic cleansers I've used. I'm definitely considering purchasing this again!๐
ConsI didn't really have any inconvenient or unsatisfactory experiences while using this! But I'd recommend using this as part of a double cleansing routine rather than as a standalone cleanser.
TipI think this would be a great option for those trying out mild acidic cleansers for the first time!

My skin type is an oily T-zone but lacking in moisture, and a dry U-zone. I have some bumpy acne on the outer parts of my face. It's not extremely sensitive, but there are some sensitive areas. The scent was like orange, but I felt it was similar to dish soap scent. It wasn't overpowering or irritating, though. I used a mildly acidic secondary cleansing foam, and found that my skin didn't experience any troubles or breakouts when switching products or water sources, which often happens to me. In fact, a clogged pore on my nose even cleared up. I can't say the cleanser was solely responsible, but it definitely didn't have any negative impact on my skin. The cleansing power was better than expected for a mildly acidic product. It removed my everyday makeup, including Etude House eyeshadow, Peripera foundation, and Rom&nd blush, except for the stained areas of Kiss Me mascara and Laneige Velvet Tint. But keep in mind that I tend to apply makeup lightly. It left my skin feeling moisturized all the way through, without any tightness or dryness. I even sometimes forgot to use toner and lotion after using this product, which was unusual for my normally dry skin. My previous cleanser would leave some dryness, but this one didn't have that issue at all. Even those with normal to dry skin types would likely be satisfied with the non-drying, moisturizing effect. The pump packaging was also very convenient, compared to the tubes I'm used to. I wish more products came in pump bottles.
Cons๐คCleansing power The cleansing power is not perfect. I would recommend it as a secondary cleansing product. Considering its mild acidity, the cleansing power is not bad, but these days the fine dust is quite severe. Even if the ingredients are good, if the cleansing power is poor, you may experience breakouts due to the remaining fine dust or makeup residue. This is from my personal experience. The cosmetics I use are not for heavy makeup, and they are not waterproof products, so please keep this in mind! ๐คFoaming The foaming is not extremely good. When rubbing it in the palm of my hand, small soap bubbles were formed. I didn't pay much attention to the foaming, so it wasn't particularly inconvenient for me, but if you want rich foaming, you may be dissatisfied. I couldn't test it with a foaming net, but based on other people's reviews, it seems to work well when used with one! ๐คFinish I heard that the slippery finish is a characteristic of the mild acidity, and since it was my first time experiencing it, I applied more water than usual because it felt strange. Once I got used to it, it was fine, but if you're experiencing this type of finish for the first time, you may keep applying more water, thinking it's not fully rinsed off (haha). I would not recommend this product to those who dislike this type of finish.
